HAVE YOU HAD A PARANORMAL EXPERIENCE? i THINK I HAVE HAD TWO. The first was when I was a child. I was alone in my parents home and was lookling out of my living room window out in to the garden when a young woman in victorian dress was looking in at me. My mother told me not to worry because it was only Aunty Dora coming to have a look at me. Fare enough, except aunty dora died in childbirth in 1923.
The Second experience was when I was in my 30s . We moved into a beautiful 16th century cottage with lots of atmosphere. After a few weeks we both saw a young girl walking around the house wearing a long blue dress, we learned that this was the spirit of a 12 year old girl who died in the house in 1852.
Does anyone else have any experiences they would like to share?

Is there such a thing as indirect encouter with paranormals? Cause if there is, I'll use that to describe my experience. Haha!
I do not have "direct" encounter with paranormals. When i say direct, I don't see, hear or communicate with them. But at times, I tend to feel accompanied though physically, I am alone. I can't see them but i know they're there.
I do believe that paranormals exist. But I don't wish to see them... Haha!

many people have this kind of experience and i do believe we feel presence. However, i also feel the spirit world is such that you will only be shown what you can easily cope with and if you dont wish to see something, you will be blinded from it

hellO!. well i can say that i can never really see these things but i do think that sometimes i can feel them or i can feel a presence near me. anyways i dont know and i am not quite sure but i think i had an encounter once.. well i am sure that i was sleeping and that i had been awoken because a woman was standing at the feet part of the bed and so i kicked here and kicked hard that she feel all over me and her hair was suffocationg me. i can really feel the hair and the weight of that woman on top of me and i never thought that i would really survive that thing. all i had in my mind that i this will be over soon, ill just hold on, and no im not gonna die thoughts in my mind while the woman was on top of me, so heavy, so unmoving and so disgusting.. i never went back to sleep after that. its like the woman just disappeared and i woke up and i was sweating and very tired.
i hope that never happens to me again, so far it didnt. the closest thing was that i heard a voice and then i cannot move anymore.it was a devilish hard cold voice and it was like magic that it bound me and i cant move. all these dreams happen to me quite often and i dont know.i think that it is paranormal because it goes beyond the normal occurence of dreams because sometimes i can really touch and feel the things that i experience in a dream.

hi patrice,
That is quite disturbing. I feel that you have had a quite common experience and is something you need to look in to. It might be worth while for you to look into the history of your home, try to find a reason behind this manifestation. Have you ever tried playing with tarot cards? or weija boards? or have you any evidence that they have been used in your home. Both of these, if used by the wrong hands and without adequate safeguarding can bring the sort of problems you speak of. May i also assure you that you are completely safe, nothing in spirit can hurt you.
Blessed be

Well basically I am man who believes in thinking rationa;;y and logically. Siply seeing a lady in Victorian Dress or seeing a child wal;king around the house doesn't make your experience a paranormal experience! It may be just a coincidence that the thing must have actially happend and you are correlateing it to the incidents! I personally believe that there is nothing paranormal or some thing like that. Everything has to follow the laws of nature! Anything which we don't know as yet is considered to be a para normal thing.
People when witnessed the movie for the first time in the theatre they left their seats and ran away looking at a railway engine approaching them ! Same way when irst Steam engine was discovered people used to hide inside their homes thinking that this is some demon roaming on the streets! For that matter we can't see electricity but we can experience it! And it has become very normal for us as we have been loking at it since the time of our birth. Just imagine what would be the reaction of a tribal man who never has heard about electricity, gets an electric shock! For him this will be a paranormal experience!
There is a ward by Dr.Kavoor which is still goes unclaimed as it is meant for those who can really prove that some supernatural things can occur!
Well it i your belief, I don't want to discourage about the emotions and feelings attached to those incidents , but would definitely like to give you a friendly advice that please be sure that there is no supernatural or paranormal things exist as the people often claim!

OK YES YOU ARE RIGHT IT COULD ALL BE A COINCIDENCE. The child disappeared and reappeared regularly and never was seen to use the door, the woman in victorian dress also. Odd all the science at our disposal and not one of the sceptics has managed tosuceed in their chosen hobby of de bunking, even though they are made to look foolish regularly, also a coincidence I guess?

There you are my dear friend! The confusion, ambiguity, suspense, craziness and curiosity leads to investigate and in science we presume athing and it is called hypothesis and then either we find after continual research through various sources and various methods that the hypothesis is true or it is false! The mother nature is stable , balanced and neutral in energy flow, what I mean to say is int is in state of equilibrium. When ever there are any disturbance in this equilibrium then that is manifested either in the form of Famine, floods, Volcanic erruption , earth quake etc thuis to balance it back again! Thus we need not really need to invent any thing about the nature all we need to do is to discover them ! Thus to understand the natures law we need to spend several years of our life totally dedicated to it! Like some of the great scientists they have done in the past, because of whom we never even realise these important laws as we are taking them granted since we are taught about them in our school as a kid about them. These laws were time tested and after ahving accepted they were taught in our school! Well ! Thanks for the interest shown and expect the same in the future too dear friend! Once again thanks!

Yes i have had a few in this house were we currently live, not long after we had moved in i was sitting in the living room with a friend my husband and her husband were out so there was just the two of us there with my two small children, we seen a figure of a young person dressed in black float across the kitchen just inches above the floor, initially it was frightening and we blamed the men on playing tricks on us. She never returned. The second time was in my bedroom i would be asleep and feel an icy breeze on my face it didnt bother me as i felt it was the spirit of the old lady who lived here before us, she had come back looking for her family, I told her that they had all moved away and to go and rest she never did return. Another incident was when we were driving over whats called the seven sisters bridge in swarkstone near us a black net type item floated over the botten of the car we stopped but found nothing, after we spoke to people about this it was probably one of the seven sisters who the bridge was named after, the story was they had seven boyfriends who were also brothers but they couldnt meet because there was a river so they had the bridge built. I think the legend was they were never allowed to marry and the brothers were all killed. blessed be tc xx

oh wow i could go on for hours and hours about my paranormal experiences, since i have them on an almost daily basis! when i was a little girl at night when i was trying to go to sleep there was always this strange man who came in my room and would talk to me. he scared me to no end! hmm or how about this one.. a few years ago me and some friends were out at a cemetary late at night trying to videotape some paranormal stuff.. i was holding the camera and felt urged to zoom in on this little plant that had an almost vine like look to it... out of nowehere a spirit flashed in front of me right where i was filming (yes i did catch him on tape).. it was a native american man in his early 20's and he was bleeding from the side of his abdomen right above his hip (looked like he had been stabed). he stared me straight in the eye and i could feel his pain and suffering. after everytime we watched the tape, at that spot it would show a different part of his body each time (very strange).

wow, why arent things like this documented? its all good stuff and there really is too much of it all to be down to coincidence, id like to see the nay sayers come up with any proof at all to back up their theory, it seems dramaticly lacking, like frightened little school children they run away with their fingers in their ears yelling its all a coincidence, well i think we should file them with the flat earthers now, far too much evidence is being suplied, blessed be
i wish i could see your tape

wow thats amazing. Your daughter has a gift. Many children see this sort of thing (the imaginery friend) but few continue to see them behond puberty. She is blessed indeed. This spirit will have a strong connection with your home and i strongly suggest she tries to talk to him he will certainly have a message for her

Its a strange feeling i agree. When we first started having visitations from Sarah, our friendly spirit 12 year old, she used to turn bathroom taps on and off as though she was fascinated with them. She, we think was trying to get our attentiion, because as soon as we acknowledged her, the turning on and off of water taps in the middle of the night stopped, as did the turning on and off of all the lights in the house.

I don't know if I'd call it a paranormal experience. There is a ghost that walks the backyard of my childhood home. She wears a old fashioned green dress and walks the same path everytime you see here. But she doesn't acknowledge the living world, never strays from her path and vanishes at the end of the yard. Never tried to get her on film though - haven't seen her in many years (my mother stilllives in the home) and no one but me has ever seen her - so it could be one of those things about children only seeing the ghosts - I don't see her anymore because I'm an adult - even though I still believe.

this sort of thing happens to so many of us that it is clearly more than imagination. I have seen enough and heard enough testimony from others to realise it is very very real, why cant science also accept it?

Certainly i was worried at first, but this was a fear of the unknown. As i started to learn more about it and the way in which spirit works, i have also started to lose my fear. Once fear leaves us it becomes a much more interesting topic for both research and debate

Hi, I've had quite a few experiences, most have been of seeing things out of the corner of my eye but I can describe them quite clearly and the first one I had was a sound experience, where I thought I heard someone come up the stairs and come into my bedroom but when I turned around there was no one there. My latest experience was a couple of weeks back as I was tapping away on the pc. I work in a really old railway station building and was generally minding my own business when I saw out the corner of my eye a very prim and proper lady whom I can only describe as a victorian with a blue bonnet and matching dress staring out of the window next to me! Weird but they don't bother me really, my colleague had a paranormal experience a few days later, he was walking to the office and someone passed him and said excuse me, when he looked up there was no one there and no where they could have gone too. Neither of us drink by the way lol! Brightest Blessings my friend

As with you, i was sat at my computer a few nights ago, typing on mylot about midnight and in my kitchen i saw an old woman sat at the kitchen table she just looked, pointed a finger but said nothing, she stayed about half a hour, not sure yet what she wanted but im sure it will become clear in the near future

Believe it or not, I believe in ghosts.
When I was a kid back in Taiwan, there was a time when the electricity went out because of the typhoon or strong heavy rain. I wasn't scared when everything was pitch black around the house. Suddenly by the window, I would see a white, flowy image waving around and I could just stare at it the whole time without calling my parents just because I'm scared. When I went out to check, everything was pitch black. There was no lights on the streets, no one walking around with a flash light... then I started to get scared.
The next instance is when I was back here in the Philippines when my grandmother passed away due to illness. She would stay in our house and walked around at the middle of the night because she is restless. At 3am, I woke up and went down to the kitchen just to get something to drink and suddely I heard someone walking with slippers dragging on the floor. I thought it was my uncle because he's also staying in our house. "Uncle? Is that you?" No response. I looked around and no one was there. I went upstairs to check on my uncle and he was still asleep in his room. I freaked out a bit so I went back to my room and just watched tv. In my room, I would always hear my door knob moving because that's what my grandma does everytime she would ask me to eat some snack she prepared for me.
Another incident is I usually wake up at 4am to prepare myself to school. The alarm clock rang at 4am and I snoozed it. It was 4:30am and someone knocked on my wall (my room is just beside my brother's room and he could knock the wall since it's wooden). So I woke up and went to my brother's room. Believe it or not, I thought he was there because every time he does that, it means he needed something from me. But no one is in that room and my bro wasn't home that time. I was like "Oh my gawd.. this is crazy...".
I have so many experiences that I would just list them all.

thank you for sharing your vivid experiences. I am convinced we all are only shown what we can cope with and that the really frightened will hide behind science to pretend there is nothing to it. However, we have seen from this discussion that many of us share very similar experiences.
One thing I have also noticed is that very few of us have but one paranormal experience, we either have non at all or we have quite a few. I feel this suggests that as we mature spiritually and mentally we are shown more and more.
Blessed be

Hi Eskarena1,
I've always believed in the paranormal / ghosts / spirits, etc. I've always been one to track and be subjective about urban legends (which there are plenty of around here in San Diego), however it wasn't until my father passed away in 2004 that I had my first REAL experience.
This could potentially be a bit off topic so I'l keep it short, and if you want to hear more let me know :), but do you believe in contact between worlds in dreams. I had three experiences with my dad and they ment something, and were obvious and DID NOT feel like a dream.
I live close to the Whaley house in San Diego and have yet to have a paranormal experience there, it's supposed to be one of America's most haunted houses.
Cool subject!

not really like the one you experienced. but before during my high school days, i represented our school in one of the conferences held somewhere in a big city in our country. we stayed in an old school that was turned into a lodging house to accomodate thousands of participants. i was inside a comfort room on the third floor when all of a sudden the door was closed. i was so scared. there was no wind or anything. i was the only one up on that floor, and only the rest room had lights in it. bang! the door closed. i was so afraid. but i just opened the door again, thank GOD it was not locked and i went out back to the 2nd floor and pretended as if nothing happened. but heck, i was so scared already.

I've had a few experiences. One time as a child I heard some creaking coming from the closet. I opened the door and saw an old woman sitting in her rocking chair, just rocking away. Closed the door and reopened it, and she was still there.
I came over to visit my hubby, then fiance. He still lives in the same house. It was built before 1830, a croft house that has been extented. While he was at work, I was alone in the house. I decided to go for a walk. I got the the door, but I felt a presence behind me. It didn't want me to leave. I got my hand on the door knob, but I couldn't turn it. I felt like I was being pulled back into the room. The presence didn't want to be left alone. Needless to say, I didn't go out.
Sitting on the couch one night I felt the tail of a cat brush under my knee. We don't have a cat.
I don't mind these visitations. I usually end up talking with them.

i honestly believe that spirit will not show itself to you until you are mentally ready. Fear and ignorence breed scepticism and this at least partially explains some of the negativity that psychics get. However the spirit realm is such that it is around you all the time but you will only be shown when and if you are able to cope with it.
blessed be
