I dont' think that it is a problem to hold hands in public or even cuddle or kiss. I don't notice people staring at me when I do this, and even if they did I don't think I would care.

I think it is just fine to hold hands, give eashother a hug or a modest kiss. I do not like to have everyones attention on me, so i would never exaggerate it. I do not feel that is very appropriate either.

This is funny because I am always joking with my hubby about this , he is a really shy guy ( been maried 45 years ) I am a very demonstrative person but when I take his hand outside the house he shrugs away says "gerroff" and laughs , xx

I'm 54 and my husband is 49 we have been together for 15 years and married for 13..When ever we go out anywhere, even to take the dog for a walk we always hold hands, and if the right time is for a small kiss we even kiss in public. There is nothing wrong with showing affection in public and no one has ever looked at us strange for it, they give a caring look...I like to see couples holding hands and showing some caring affection. It shows love and caring for each other... The World needs more of it....

In all honesty, I think that if you really care for the person, the scene doesn't matter. If you care for them, you'd do anything for them. Holding hands and a kiss is nothing. It's just how intense you do it is all. Showing a bit of affection in public isn't wrong, but when it gets to the point where it looks as if it's the end of the world and they're hardcore making out, it gets a bit inappropriate. Thats how I see it.

There is nothing wrong with holding hands or kissing in public. It shouldn't be attracting attention unless you are so out of control that your next stop should be the motel room. I have never had a problem with holding hands or kissing in public.

I have no problems displaying affection for my other half.
We have been married for 33 years. Yes we have our ups and downs but it still amazes me how much I love him.
We hold hands when out walking, shopping or anywhere. Have kissed each other in public and I don't think it should bother anyone.
Course noone every called me shy or bashfull LOL I could care less what others think about my actions
What counts is that we are still together

I think it all depends on where u are and who you are around. I will always hold my GF hand when were out, but obviously over the top kssing or something like that outdoors just isnt nice, I dont want to see other people doing it so why should they watch me? Anyway just my input to this I mean its sometimes nice to see an affectionate nation
