The pre-packaged mixes at the store have too much sugar and other additives you don't need.
Here’s a homemade mix you can keep in the pantry.
1 cup nonfat dry milk
3/4 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
You can add 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon for a variation.
Combine ingredients and mix well. Store in airtight
container…no need to refrigerate.
To make the hot cocoa, whisk in 2 tablespoons of mixture into 1 cup mug of COLD water or milk (for easier solubility). Microwave mug of milk/chocolate mixture
for 1 minute.

Well the easiest hot chocolate recipe is 1 heaping Tablespoon Herseys unsweetened cocoa, 2 Tablespoons sugar, per every 1 cup milk. Heat milk to less than boiling, add sugar and cocoa, mix to dissolve, and there you have a great cup of hot cocoa!
