Friends on mylot; Time Away and Understanding -- What do you do?

I haven't been able to do much to much on mylot lately. First, I was short on time because I was working around the clock on my website. The website is still not completed. It's up and running, just no where near being complete. Then, the unthinkable happened. My computer crashed and I lost everything. That left me with a system that was unstable for several days which meant no posting here on mylot. After seeing some past disussions of reasons people remove others from their friends list,I thought I was doomed. I was concerned that people on my friends list would start deleting me. To my relief and surprise, everyone is still on my friends list. THANK YOU! I'm back, for the most part. I still need to spend time working on my website. I need to get all caught up. I have old discussions that need resolved [Best Response picked]. That is for the ones that even have a response, many don't. I feel like I should go through my friends discussions to see what I can reply to. I need to reply to some responses that I received on discussions that I started. All of this has brought me here to ask a few questions. If you delete people from your friends list because they haven't been active or responding to your discussions, how long do you hold off? I mean, do you consider whether they may have had computer problems or something going on in their life? How long with no replies to your discussions do you wait... a week, a month or what? If you have been away from mylot for awhile, where do you start? What do you do to get caught up? Do you jump into your friends discussions or catch up ones that you started first?

I used to wait at least a month before I considered deleting people. And even then it was only people that discussions I wasn't interested in. But, that has changed because in the past couple of months I've been moving and other stuff has come up so I haven't been able to devote as much time on mylot and it's changed my perspective a little bit.

sorry to hear about your computer but no worries. i don't remove anyone from mine for not being on. i have deleted one cuz i thought when she started a discussion it was more spam then anything. i don't think anyone will remove you. some of you do have other things to do. don't worry

Its good to see you back and I hope you can fix the computer and website issues quickly. As Im only new to MyLot, I don't know what the standard time frame is surrounding non-posting friends. I don't think I would delete my friends for a few months. Hope you catch up quickly.

I certainly would hope that people take into consideration that things go wrong. I haven't quite felt up to posting too much lately. Being busy taking care of mom and now with her passing, that's a lot to deal with. I would hope that people would treat others as they would want to be treated. If they aren't sure what's going on, sometimes asking is the best way to find out. I don't have a lot of friends on my list and that's ok, for now. I'm still new to mylot and not having much free time lately, I'm still trying to get used to it. Hopefully it will all come together soon, and I hope no one deletes me. I have started to try to look at friends discussions, I just haven't felt much like commenting on too much, and I haven't resolved all of mine either. Guess I have some catching up to do myself.

I wouldn't even consider deleting friends off my list no matter if they reply ,are active,or are being freezed for awhile. I always make responses to my friend's and check the ones i started later.
