Margie this is a very touchy subject for me as I was raped at the age of 5 for 2 years by a Family Member who was in his 40. So I am sorry if I am going to sound awful here, but as far as I am concerned this man should be castrated put in Jail and throw away the Key. A few Years in Jail is nothing, this Girl has to live and deal with it for the rest of her Life. No one ever knew about it in my Case till I was 26. But I know what affect it has left on me. This Girl will never forget this and her Life is going to be a Life in fear of Men.

I am so sorry Gabs. However, I DO understand. I cannot talk about it, nor on here. You do understand what I am saying though, I am sure. And, I agree with you 100%. I feel the laws are too easy on them in the USA. In India, they cut off the mans private. I think that is justice, but, the pain he has inflicted on his victim never goes away, and is also shared by her husband, family, and her future kids as a result. Did you read what I wrote about elevators? I will not go on an elevator if a man is in there, or stay on, if one comes in if I am alone in there.
May the blessings of our Lord protect, heal, and comfort you. M&M

It will scar her for life, but what does he get? A few years jail? They should casterate him and keep him there for ever.

it makes me sick- that poor child- he took her innocense made her grow up so quickly, she will carry that with her all her life. That man was proabably abused as a child and maybe if he had gotten help he might not have harmed someone else.

I believe in justice. Nothing at all can justify the atrocious behaviour of this individual. He should be tortured for days on end to make him feel only "some" of the pain he´s inflicted on a child. Jail? Not in my opinion. Playing squash and watching TV with his inmates while that girl has to deal with fear and disgust for the rest of her life? Not in my opinion. I won´t say where I want him to be sent because I don´t want your post to be banned.

This saddens me so deeply. More so now that I have a daughter of my own. How could someone do something like that. If only I could decide the man's punishment, I'll tell you, this man wouldn't be capable of raping anyone ever again!

He needs to be removed from society. Perhaps we could send him off to war, he might not make it back. Maybe let the family get ahold of him. Not sure, since he is destined to get out of jail again and statistics say he will do it again. Hope that the girl gets all the help that she needs. Hope God can touch her a make her whole again.

OH my gosh, that is just so sad. That poor little girl will spend the rest of her life with doubts about men now. What could a man possibly get from doing such a terrible act against a child? People like this need to be kept away from society.

My thoughts are that poor girl and her FAMILY. This girl
will need major counciling and even with that she will not
live a normal life. I cannot even imagine as to what is
going through her little mind now. This man does not deserve to live or be allowed to live. I believe he should have his court time I know the saying everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Sad thing is he will get
off saying he has mental problems. Then he will be secluded in a cell so no one can touch him or bring harm to him. This guy should be turned over to the Family of
this girl and let them decide what to give him

I think paedophiles are sick.
To start it, raping someone i.e. forcing something upon another without their consent is outright wrong. And to do such an irreversible thing to a 6 yrs old? This may very well damage her irreparably and the guilt will be on his conscience forever.

My thoughts on this margieanne are obviously shock and horror, but must say NOTHING surprises me anymore, as have heard of months old babies being raped and feel the same response each time I hear this, my stomach just churns and I cannot for the life of me understand such horrendous cruelty. What more can I say!

I think it is horrible and that this man should spend the rest of his life in jail and then some. There is no way in the world he should ever be allowed out of prison for doing this a girl. That is really sick. The world is becoming a violent place.

I really hope they string him up and let him hang for a while before throwing him in a jail for the rest of my life. My personal thought would also to be lock him in a room with the child's parents and let them do as they please. This is one subject that really getst to me. Anyone who does that to a child deserves what ever happens to them. I just feel so bad for the little girl. This is something that will effect her all her life. She didn't deserve it. She deserved far better then what she received so far in life.

Not trying to be rude or anything, but what exactly do you mean "what are your thoughts on this?" My thoughts on this is that this man is a sick perverted individual and needs to be thrown in jail and raped over and over himself! I can't imagine anybody having a different opinion
