When I was young there were appartments next door to our house, so there were lots of kids to play with. We had horses and ponies so we did alot of riding. There was a cow farm behind us and the barn was next door. When the land was sold for developement we used to play hide and seek in the barn and the out buildings. Then when they were building the big apartment complex in the cow pasture, we would have picnics at the top of the hill that overlooks it now. We built forts in the woods, went skating, sledding in the winter. We were outside from sun up to sundown....lol There were no video games and computers to keep us indoors.

Used to ride bikes alot. Marbles were good too. Winter time we built snow men and threw snowballs. When older I had my horse and lived in the country. Spend summers at the library. Picnicing with my Mom. Shopping and visiting relatives.

The backyard of my house when I was a kid was the school's baseball field. We played basebal about every day during the summer. After school we played kick the can and hide and go seek. We rode our bikes up and down the street and pulled into the driveway where we got gas. I had a lot of fun when I was growing up.

One of my favorite outdoor games when growing up was called swingin' statues. I will try to explain the game. You would grab a friend by the arm then go 'round and round until you finally let go of your friend. Then they have to freeze into a position! If they fail to hold the pose, then they are out. The objective of the game, at least how I played it, was to spin my friends until we were both dizzy then let go. They would almost always fall or lose position. :-)
I also enjoyed tackle football, basketball, riding bikes, skateboarding, and skating (back before the rollerblades!) just to name a few more activities.

When I was a kid I used to love to go outside and ride my bike. I would ride all by myslef whether I had friends to play with or not. I used to love to go over to my neighbors house and play basketball or volleyball. I only got to do all of that stuff up until I was 12 years old. then I had to becaome a mature young girl and grow up and not get to do those things any longer. I still play basketball when i can but it isn't very often.

i love my bike, with the pink fringes on the side!i would wake up so early and knock on my neighbor to wake up my best friend then we would go biking around the village.it was not that dangerous then because there seldom cars passing so no biggie deal about safety.we would pick fruits up on our house roof,we used to have a guave tree that leads to our house roof,we would hang out there.

I used to like riding my bike up and down my road.
I also used to make up adventure games with my friends and we would pretend we were the red hand gang (remember that program anyone?). I also used to hit a tennis ball on the wall and practice basketball hoops.
