i had a permanent job, my first job after graduation. i left it to find a better opportunity in abroad. i had been with the company since it first opened and grew with it. 2 years passed, some of my colleagues left the company and others got promoted due to vacancy. knowing my capabilities, i almost have it. i have been waiting for that chance several months after i joined the company. but,i came to the turning point of my career life. i had asked God to give me the sign if i should continue. i had decided whichever comes first, will be the career path for me and do my best for whatever is granted to me. however, that day, i received news that my papers are approved already at the same time that my boss is planning to give the promotions i deserved. both are good opportunities, which were even the more difficult to decide. thus, i had to make a better decision. think of my options. i do not like regrets. out of desperation, someone has to be promoted. i chose going abroad.

i think you have done a good choice. you have followed what your heart tells you to do. Choosing one option in life would also mean risking other opportunities, but the important thing is you should never put regrets in your actions. Stand for it and make it grow. God Bless my friend!!

It's really hard to make a better decision and donot regrets later for almost every ordinary people. But the hell choice comes to you all the time, seems endless.
I think putting the burden down and watching the every step clearly, a good right now situation is the best foundation for the next step, so whatever decision you made is OK, once you chose one, dont regret, try best hard and finally you must be succed!

i agree. its really hard making decisions if all the options are good. but, whatever decison made one has to stand up for it. if things went wrong, just think about them as lessons learned and look for alternatives. atleast, there is learning which makes one wiser all the more.

I am in the same situation 7 months ago, sometimes it is hard to give up the job that you keep for a long time. Along the good relationship you have built with your co-woker in the company that you are about to part. but either way we have to choose the best for us, we cant have everything in our life and we have to decide which path are we going to take in accordance with our goals in life.
I second you for working abroad - it is a new challenge and a new hope, (by the way thanks for responding in my post ;) )
