fantastic piece of art!

I really enjoyed apocalypto too. ALthough I wanted to leave the movie house shortly after the villagers were captured. I was really saddened when the captors took them across the river and the kids couldn't go with them. It was a really painful scene. Mel Gibson, true to form , keeps your adrenaline and blood flow going. In the end, you also pity the captors since you know the spanish conquistadors will soon have everybody by their balls.

it doesnt matter whether it's nominated or not so long as we, fan of this movie, loved it so much. i really like the essence of the film despite of the language, i felt the strong faith they have among there Gods and beliefs. a very exciting and entertaining movie indeed!:)

Yeah I was suprised it wasn't up for an oscar too. Braveheart was also a fantastic movie by Mel (It won tons of oscars), but to me Apocalypto was a finer piece of art.

The best movie made by Mel Gibson. Better than Braveheart. Who wanna enjoy gruesome imagination will not be disappointed to share the limitless appetite for gore.
