beachaddict Honesty, understanding and the willingness to work things out are essential. Reminding the person you love that he/she makes you happy reinforces their view of themselves and at the same time, makes them feel good about themselves.

Do you buy or borrow your books?

I am a regular at my local library, so most of my reading material is 'borrowed'. When I do buy books I usually buy hardbounds, and books that are worth keeping and adding to my specialized collection. What about you?

beachaddict i used to hang out at powerbooks a lot because they allowed you to read the books even if you didn't plan to buy them, mainly because I didn't have money. But i'd buy my books if i could afford them.

beachaddict I don't think we can regulate rudeness. It's a person's personality or upbringing that defines their manners. It's a free world, which means, unfortunately, that they can do as they please, wherever they want as long as its within law =(
