is it possible my 7 month old doesnt like his great grandmother

my son is very loving and smiles all the time.until Sundays. we spend sundays with my husbands mother(grandmather).as soon as my son sees her he stops doing anything. he cries everytime she looks at him. it is only around her this happens. i have four other children and they are all fine with her, she is a nice person. i just cant figure it out. she is the only person that he reacts to in this manner. does anyone else have this problem? any suggestions on how to fix it?Is it natural?

My youngest doesn't like being around old people. She isn't keen on strangers at all, but when it is someone elderly she clings to me the whole time and doesn't move off my lap. I don't know whether she senses something from me, or whether it is just something about seeing old people that scares her.
I can only recommend that you keep taking you son and home he gets more comfortable with it.

Children are very sensitive to people. Especially that young. It's possible that your 7 month just hasn't had anough time to build a bond with her. Or perhaps there is something about her that he doesn't like. A particular feel or ordor. Not saying she is a smelly person, but perhaps she uses a lotion or fabric softner he doesn't care for. And then associates that person with that thing. Is she a smoker? All I'm saying is that perhaps your son is very sensitive to these things. Not that she is a bad person. I'm not sure how to get around this problem, if that is truely what it is.
