my son seems like he is still hungry after eating his bottle from dinner time, should I start giving him cereal, I know what your doctor says, and I did some research on the web site but I want to hear it from experience, I have two other boys but I don't remember having this problem till they were 4 months he eats 8oz and has been for like a week now and that does not seem to fill him up he still cry's for more, what should I do?????

When my child got like that, I would put just a bit of cereal in their formula so it was the consistancy of really runny oatmeal, cut the hole in the bottle a wee bit bigger so the runny oatmeal could come out & let them drink that. Just be careful, the first mouthful that he gets he will probably gag on it. It may take a few tries to get the consistancy right for your baby, but once he realizes that it is food & he is getting full, he will like it. All for my children were eating either toddler food or table food by the time they were a year old. Good luck to you & yours!

When my eldest daughter was 6 weeks old she was like this and she stopped sleeping through the night which she had been doing since I put her on formula at 2 weeks old. I introduced a spoonful of solids at teatime and one before bed and she started sleeping again and seemed much more full.
My youngest didn't show any interest in food until 12 weeks.
I am just saying that all babies are different. Ultimately it is up to you what you choose. You are right that they don't recommend this, but he is your baby and you know him the best.
