first one needs to understyand why stress is present at all. .. it is there coz u are consistently thinking about something and not able to sleep properly.. so the only way to to relieve ur stress is to sleep well .. preferably on a comfortable bed with mattress and dont forget to use a pillow..

You mean, besides the blood curdling scream that escapes once in a while? (LOL just kidding). Listening to some really upbeat, loud, thumping music while I vigorously clean the house does wonders for me. Taking a walk helps too.

I have a go on hubby's exercise bike or I come on MY Lot and get lost in the discussions or I phone my Mum and have a good old natter with her , The best thing to do is take yourself right away from the stress and concentrate on something else xx

For me, it is switching off the handphone and going off to a deserted mountainside where no one can contact me. Then, listening to the sound of the waterfall's rushing waters soothes my soul. The sound of nature is a good remedy for stress. It's better than taking a stress management course or seminar.

I find music and singing helps a lot. Reading a novel might work well. I also think playing a game on the computer might help - it depends on the kind of stress I'm in. I am reading a book about relaxation tecniques, yoga and meditation. I hope this will help.

i listen to music to relieve stress. i think it is the best way to distract myself. i enjoy songs which are fast and keep me active as one tends to be lazy and dull when under stress. i also sleep when i feel tired because of stress. i sleep for long till i feel fresh again ....

When I get stressed out I try to remove myself from the situation for a while. I'll curl up in bed with a book and read for a few hours or I'll get online and play games or go through discussions here. If I keep my thoughts off of what ever it is that's causing my stress, it helps rejuvenate my mind and then I'm better able to deal with the situation later.

When I'm stressed or upset about something I do housework, the deep cleaning kind. I find that my mind gets focused on that and I forget about what ever it was that had me stressed. Sometimes I add music into the house, upbeat stuff.

Sleeping. Sleeping is awesome, especially if you have someone amazing to spend it with.

To relieve stress at the end of a day, I have a lovely long hot bath with nice smelling oils. I get a trashy novel and lie in the bath for about an hour and just relax.

I find it helps to choke the crap out of the person causing me so much stress. Ok just kidding...I read, listen to music, play games and dance...not all at the same time unless you count dancing in my chair because I can't tear myself away from the posts I am reading, the games I am playing all while listening to net radio long enough to go to the bathroom.
