Hello fellow MyLot Users,
Ive been consuming Red Bull Energy Drink for the past 5-6 months. At first it was occasional, but now the count has gone up to atleast 4-5 cans a week. Someone explained to me that consuming red bull on regular basis is injurious as it contains caffeine (80 mg per 240 ml). Caffeine stimulates the CNS (Central Nervous System) and gives temporary alertness and energy. But over dosage of caffeine can cause nervousness, anxiety, irritability and many other unpleasant mental and physical conditions..
Do u think i should cut down on my red bull intake?.. It does provide temporary alertness and it feels good. But i really wanna know how its affecting my health.. I havent experienced any of the above symptoms or any side effects..
Doctors reading this, please help...

I think if it is harmful you shouldnot stop it at once but you should reduce your dose slowly. If it has not been harmful to you so far its good for you but its better to be on the safe side than taking the risk.
