Is candy only for kiddies? It is wrong to like lollypops at 23?

I have a confession to make: I'm 23 but i still love lollypops and other types of candy too! So do you think this is wrong, and that candy should only be for kiddies, and that many i should stick to more grown up chocolates and such like, or do you think it's still ok to like lollypops and other kiddies sweets even at the age of 23 and beyond?

I think it's great that you still love lollipops. I too like them sometimes. Sweet treats from when were younger help remind us of great times in our childhood. They can also be a type of comfort food when we are down. Hubby loves gummy bears and gummy worms. I confess I like them too. But my favorite of all is those little melt in your mouth mints that come in pastel colors. Keep being sweet.

Not at all- I still like things like frosties (those cola sweets) and would happily eat pick and mix sweets and things like that- you can see adults like those sort of things by the fact places like topshop have pick and mix bars and most people buying it are over 18 :)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with loving candy. I love some types of candy and the companies that make it depend on more than just kids to love the candy. I pass out candy for Halloween and end up running out because my husband and I can't stop eating it.

Heck no! I've been known to have "safety pops" at work. Sometimes I forget they're in my mouth & I walk around the place with them. People look at me funny sometimes ~ but I think they're jealous that I'm bold enough to do it! (btw I'm 34) Also ~ when my son & I go to the bank, he always asks for a sucker & I usually do too! Nothing wrong with that! Be bold! Take your stand! You like candy & you have a right to your share of it!

I don't find anything wrong with this. There are people like us who have a sweet tooth. I love cotton candy at 32 :-) I think as long as we don't eat too much of them we should be fine.

Absolutely not! There's a reason there isn't an age on the wrapper! Enjoy! If nothing else, it reminds you of your childhood!

I am 28f and I still love blow pops and other kiddie candy treats. I even ate most of my son's Halloween candy LOL. I also love chocolate and fine chocolates.
But I have to keep the sugar to a minimum now. Better watch the diet. I'm going to Hawaii this April.

I think all types of candies are for all ages.
I still love tootise pops and I am 27.
I also like a lot of the candy that is geared toward little kids, like the fun pops or whatnot. I don't think it matters your age if you enjoy the candy itself

Well, I'm 25 and just bought a couple lollypops today, so I can't say anything about it being wrong ;)
The best ones are those big round candy tree lollypops, I love the rootbeer, classic bubblegum, etc. They have new flavours lately too that seem to be aimed at older groups- candy tree lollypops now come in chili lime, chili mango, lime margarita, irish cream! But grossly enough, I saw on the display today a pizza lollypop! What the heck is up with that? Lollypops should be sweet, they most certainly should not come in flavours like pizza!

Although I've always liked candy...not lollypops much but other kinds...I find it doesn't have the same greatness that it did when I was a kid. There's just something that's not there. I don't know if it's knowing how much sugar is in it now or the fact that I'm grown up but it isn't near as good as it once was.

As long as you like it and your waistline doesn't object, enjoy.
