Help! my almost 4 year old son has a bed wetting prob.

My eldest is almost 4 years old, and yet he still has that problem. How can me and my husband solve it? He's going to school this year and before he does I want him to stop wetting the bed every night. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks.

I had a relative who had that problem and it turned out to be a kidney problem. You want to make sure that this is not a medical condition and it would be good to ask your doctor for more information. I think that if you have a cut off time for fluids in the evening that it might help. I would not do anything untll I spoke with the doctor.

It just so happened that he does have a kidney problem. The doctor did not say that this would be an effect though. Thanks. Will talk to the doctor about more this.

Hello, I would try this before anything else. My daughter had a bed wetting problem and our Chiropractor told us that the cause is a food allergy. The food allergy that is most common in bed wetting is MILK. We stopped all milk products including cheeze. Read labels! She stopped wetting the bed. Hope this helps. Would like to hear the results if you try this.
