Where are all the semi consertative people?

A couple of things I've learned about conservatism: Most people get more conservative the older they get. I guess they learn how life really works as they get older. Here in my state, we stopped an income tax a few years ago. College students were outraged that we stopped it. They wanted the tax to pay for college. Those who had graduated and gotten a job, realized how much of their paychecks were already going to taxes and were glad we stopped it. Most people outside the US have far more liberal views than in the US. Another word for liberal views is socialism. Most of the world has some form of socialism, where the government is responsible for their care and upkeep. In the US, we are less likely to feel that it's governments responsibility to provide for us. There are a lot of people from socialistic countries on here, so they speak from that viewpoint. I'm conservative and proud of it. I'm most likely one of the more conservative on myLot, as I lean strongly to the right. I usually don't respond to the strong liberal posts, though, because if I really want a debate, I can go to my local campus. I come here for peaceful, informative conversations.

I'm a half conservative and half liberal. I do notice the older I get the more the conservative side comes out.

Some of the discussions on mylots are so liberal, we conservatives tend to stay far away from them! Sometimes you can give your opinion, but sometimes, just by reading their post, you realize nothing you could say would make them even see your side of things, so why bother? I didn't join mylots to argue...discussion is one thing...but not senseless, pointless arguing with no resolution.

The only thing I am conservitive with is money since we live on a single income

I have seen many that I'd consider conservative and many that I'd consider liberal on here. Knowing you the way i do, I have to agree, you lean more toward conservative, but like me, you are not critical of certain situations. I have been called a liberal conservative lol...I guess if that is a true label, then I am.
