Stargate SG1 : New Season [Last 10 episodes] starts in April

I remember either one or two series ago it being said it was the last series of Stargate SG1, I think it was alongside the ending of the first series of Atlantis, or close to that time. In some ways I hope this is the actual end, the show has been great but has drifted a bit from what we all loved so much.

I'd heard that too. As much as I like the show, I think it's pretty well run it's course. They're starting to repeat the same plot lines. First it was the gould and now it's the ori. I wasn't happy when Jack left the show. When they start making cast changes, that's usually a sign the show may be ending before long. I'll definitely watch all these last shows. I hope they end it good. I hate it when they have a bad ending for the series finale! Remember the show Angel? I didn't like the way they ended it at all! Is Atlantis going to continue? I haven't heard on that one?

This is a truly great show! I welcome any more of this story and group of actors!

This has been my favorite show that I've watched since it spin off of the original movie! I can't believe it's been 10 years! Man! I hated the ori season...it got boring. I hope they make these 10 episodes really really good! I hated when they took Jack o'neal out of the team, also...that's when we knew it wasn't going to last forever and wouldn't be the same. Of course, we'll still be able to watch the re-runs forever.

This is not a new season. It's still 10th season. They just air them with a hiatus in America.

I thought the show has been canceled... And nothing besides the 2 movies have been confirmed yet. Do you have any other reliable sourcE?

I love Stargate. It was really said to see the last ever episode last night. I loved the show when Jack was on. He had great wit, really made the show. It seems surprising that the States is behind us here in the UK. What is this about a new spin-off show? Is this true?
