when you choose how to dress, how do you choose colors to put together? Do you choose a coloured style or a monocromatic one? Or you simply follow your personal style? I personally use to wear a total black look because i see myself good just wearing that color, i can't see myself wearing red or yellow! what is your opinion on this thing? do you share my idea or do you use to wear rainbow colors?

Actually it depends on my mood. I will go for any colour, but not pink or yellow. Pink doesnt suit my skin at all because it makes my skin look 'dirty'. The yellow is just because I hate it lol, I dont know why. I tend to match to colour I'm wearing, and I avoid ones that will contrast each other because I dont want to hurt people's eyes lol. I like it in one "tone" (doesnt mean i have to wear the same colour from head to toe lol). For example I'll use gray trousers and head scarf to be matched with my light blue shirt :)

I buy and wear a lot of black, gray, and white clothing which goes with anything. Then I'll throw in a pink or red or blue shirt for a little color.

thank you for your suggestion, red is a very nice color but it doesn't suit me at all!

I tend to wear black a lot, or purple. Black and purple combinations look good and I feel good int hose colours. I don't *do* pink or pastel colours, they simply don't suit me at all.

When combining colors for clothes, aside from making sure that they compliment each other, I make special consideration on my skin tone. Certain colors may look good together when seen in a manikin or in a clotheshanger however, may look too bright or dull because of the skin color/tone of the person wearing it. Be very careful with prints as prints that look too busy tend to draw all the attention to them, and not to the one wearing them.

As long as things look good on- then I wear all colors in moderation. I like to wear a lot of black and grey because they are easy to build outfits off of and accessorize. I rarely do the head-to-toe black look, but like this on occassion. Rules of thumb for me- colors I keep away from my face are green and yellow- they make me look washed out. Certain pink shades that are orange in base color don't look good near my face either. I'll wear them in a mini skirt or accessory- but never near the face. If I feel fat ever I wear red, since it is a natural confidence booster and improves my mood. I don't really have any orange clothing because this is a tricky color to get right. I wear a lot of blue- I organize my tops by color in my closet and this is the second largest section after black. I buy a lot of clothes so try my best to come up with interesting outfits in all colors. I find with enough trying on, almost anything in anycolor is workable. You just need to know what to layer over or under it or what other color could balance it out.

I try to stay conservative, so I do not wear a lot of bright or flashy colors. I just know what colors go together and which ones dont, so I know which tie to wear with that shirt and what suit to wear them with or whatvere I choose to wear.
