if it was all predestined then why did he choose to have us go through everything? Someone has asked this and I am looking for the best answer.

I think God wanted to find out how we turn out after going through all the things that we have been through. I think he was testing us about how much adversity we can handle, how much we love one another, to see how much patience we have with each other and to just find out what kind of people he created. He wanted to know more about us and the way we think and react to different situations. That is my opinion on this very good question and topic. :-)

Heavenly Father knows what we are capable of doing, just like we know what our kids are capable of doing. Sometimes our kids make poor choices that we know are poor choices but we have to let them learn for themselves. Heavenly Father lets us make our own choices too even if we make poor choices, he will let us make the choice. It is by making our own choices, that we learn and grow. Our lives is not determined before we are born, our potential is. We can live up to our potential or make poor choices and not live up to our full potential. It is how we make our decisions to the choices that we are exposed to, that determines how we will spend our Eternal life.

Okay, first and foremost, christian i'm not. I do believe in higher beings, but the bible was written by man. what was put in there was decided by man. power hungry man at the time. So, here goes. First off, i don't believe in adam and eve, or that the world really started just 4,000 years ago. I do believe that a higher power, puts us on a road, and puts decisions in front of us, and we've got free will to choose right and wrong. Do i believe that my eternal soul will burn in hell because i haven't been baptized christian, or if i make a wrong turn periodically? No. Do i believe my innocent four year old son will live out eternity in purgatory because he's not baptized? No. Basically, we're here, whether thats fate,or by some ultimate design. what we do with it, is up to us. god is not going to step in and stop the wars. He's not going to stop the famine, and the disease, not the pirates or the politicians. (same thing?) we're here. it's our decision. He/She/It might watch from a distance, but ultimately, humans are flawed creatures. we have to fix ourselves. It's not predestined, or preordained, we all have choices.

Everything happens for a reason. It will make us stronger, as in to handle the next hurdle to jump. Romans 8:28. Check it out.

you know i ask myself the same question all the time, if God is really real then why do we have to suffer and feel pain all the time, people say it is because of adam and eve, and what they did in the garden of eden, maybe it was but i still do not see that as a reason. if u ask my opinion i would say that i believe in something higher up than us but i don't think it is God.

ya, it was a nice question indeed,if we trust in god and soo? why everyone have in their mind the god in a human structure? why not a animal or flower or soo?its simple as we do.humans doesnt want to see even god different from them.and more over all our life is a play in an act.he wished humans to have the six senses and to emerge as power in this world and he didnt choosed any other source for it.its his wish all happens in this world.world is the play field where god willing plays with his human lovable toys and with other natural supplementaries.there is a saying which mentions " if all happens by the way what and how u wish, god doesnt exist "

When God created man He knew that he would eat the forbiden fruit and that is why He had a plan and that plan was jesus giveing his life for us. Read Job. there are angels and certainly satan and other worlds watching to see what God is doing. If He did not give us free choice then satan could say Ah You see I told you God is a dictater and has no real love for all his creations. Just like Satan told God about Job, That he only loves God because of What God had given him. Later after satan took every thing that Job had he told God that He was protecting Job so Job would still profess to love Him. So god Let Satan put all kinds of misery on Job. But job still worshiped God. And that My fiend is Why we suffer some times. Besides Adversity makes us stronger.

God gave us free will. Most of what occurs in our life is a result of the choices we make along the way. For those things we did not choose, such as illness, God never gives us anymore than we can handle. He wants us to grow as people, to show our faith in Him to help us through, to serve Him by helping others. In everything He gives us the opportunity to prove to Him that we have faith in Him, that we live to serve Him, and to love others as we would have them love us for God is in every one of us. In every situation that comes your way, think "What Would Jesus Do?" We have free will to do what Jesus would do or something else. If you suffer from an accident or illness, have you found the silver lining? Have you thanked God for bringing you through it because... did you learn something? did it help you to help someone else? did it help you to help yourself? Everything happens for a reason. Seek and ye shall find.

All being predestined is a misconception. God said that the righteous will be saved and will live with God eternally and that the unrighteous will be thrown into hell to suffer everlasting punishment. The choice of where we are going is vested upon us. If we obey God, and the commandments and the way how to be saved are all in the New Testament, we will be saved. If we do not obey God and we follow ourselves thinking that we are right in what we are doing, we will be thrown to hell. And so it is very important to study the Holy Bible carefully so that we would be able to follow God if we want to be saved. God said Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all will be added to you. It is the kingdom of God and His righteousness that we should seek first - not our own righteousness or who else's kingdom and righteousness. For example, the Roman Catholic Church is not the kingdom of God, definitely as it is not in accordance with the Holy Bible. The righteousness of the Roman Catholic Church also follows that that is not the righteousness of God.

The only thing I can think of is that it goes all the way back to when God said the sins of the father shall be visited on the son. I don't know if that is the correct wording but that is what I remember.

I think that God is everything. Therefore, no matter what happens, it is within the realm of God and known by God. So, any event will come under the term of predestined. Because there is nothing else that life can be. Your existence is a manifestation of God. I don't believe that everything is exactly determined ahead of time. It is that since God is all, any choice of life can be termed as predestined.
