Do you feel bad when you make mistakes on a post?

I feel really bad when I look back at my posts and see misspellings or grammatical errors. For eg, my previous post had several errors because I was distracted a bit. Every time I look at it I feel disturbed. Does anyone else feel this way or am i overreacting?

I agree with you. I do do feel bad when I make errors. Usually my errors are caused because I am typing so fast. I usually go back and correct it before I send it, but sometimes I don't see the error in time, and before I know it, it is too late. Your not the only one that feels that way.

Nobody's perfect. By the time it's posted and we notice our mistakes it's too late to do anything about them, so why worry about them? Why worry?

It's funny but I hardly notice when other people make a mistake in their post.
BUT when I notice one, no matter how minor, in mine I let it bother me quite a bit.
I am always going back to it when I get a response to see if they have mentioned the mistake I have made. I know I should just say "what the heck, whats done is done and I can't change it now" but it will bother me for days. I am working to get over this feeling of being inadequate in my post.

i also feel the same!!! i find it very embarassing and disturbing to go back and see that what a foolish mistake i had done on some post!! but thankfully i don't do it often so i don't have to feel that way too often;) but once my foolice mistake actually reversed the meaning of my post and i m still just soooo emabarassed!!!
in my opinion it's ok to feel a little disturbed but it's more okay if u r able to notice ur mistakes so the next time u could be careful about it and wouldn't repeat it!:)

I think you're a perfectionist. As you can see nobody in this world is perfect, so even though you've made any typos or grammatical errors we can still understand what were you trying to say. Don't feel bad about it, you're overeacting yourself.

I never go back to read the post once I've submitted it. Who knows, maybe I have a lot of mistakes running around:)

I know it bothers me. When I went to school (back in the old days) LOL we were taught so much more strickly. I have seen kids graduating and their spelling is scary, well in my day it just wasn't like that. Again all in the way we were taught. Everything we know we learnt from someone else. Thank You for the post.

well no not really..... i think everyone makes a typo now and then becoz were humans and not machines...........i personally never pay much attention to these mistakes coz ur not here to prove to anyone that u know english ....... ur here to have discussions and fun....... so why get serious about something which ur only doing for fun........
