Do you have high taxes where you live and do you think that they should lower them?

Taxes are acceptable in Singapore and they are, in fact, among the lowest in the world. Try Canada or some of the more "shady" places that have lower or no tax. :P

Let me just add this link - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tax_rates_around_the_world . All the taxes in the world are portrayed there, including some lesser-known examples. :P

yes the council tax i have to pay in my area is £885.73 a year which i do think is very expensive, but it has to be paid

I love living in Canada. The taxes are high compared to some other countries, but our public health and education systems are awesome.
