OK. Don't blame it to my mom please, she never missed educating me and bugging me to brush my teeth after every meal to avoid tooth decay and bad breathe. It was just because I've been too tired lately that all I wanted when I reach home is to throw myself to my bed..or it's just that am getting too lazy now..lol funny but I really forgot brushing my teeth before going to sleep yesterday, and some days before... it's actually because when I get off the office, I just dropped by a small restaurant on my way home for breakfast (coz I work night shifts). So when I get home, I go straight to my bedroom and there I was..sleeping right away... did you guys ever experience this one too? sleeping without even brushing your teeth? or am just the only crazy lazy head here... lol

huh!! i guess everyone is experiencing this.. not because we are not educated to brushing before going to sleep but due to some considerations... Sometimes i feel bored brushing knowing that i will just be at my room after brushing, no one could smell my tongue and make a kiss.. sometimes i feel very tired i cant afford to hold my big toothbrush.. somtimes i do not see the toothpaste because m sister is bringing it to her room so what a bit waste of time going there just to get it.. sometimes i just feel that i don't want to brush for me to visit my crush dentist lol.. im sorry maybe some are affront by this answer

For me its not lack of education. The world is paved with good intentions. I go to bed with my laptop and remote, planning to get a snack after my show, but I sit there for 2 hrs never getting the energy to get up and get the snack, and next thing I know- I am asleep with the laptop in my lap.

I will always brush my teeth before going to bed, regardless on how tired I am. I once went back home from my friend's place at 5am in the morning, feeling really sleepy and tired but I still brushed my teeth before going to bed. We all know it is a bad habit but you know you gotta stop it before it became addictive. Not brushing your teeth will cause your teeth to be problematic and it will cost a lot to go to a dentist.

LOL it happens to me all the time, specially whne I useto work at the hospital, I'de work graveard shift so by the time I got home I was way to exausted to even care. Also when you are out with friends and you go to dinner then hit a club or something.. I guess that's why they invented the gum and those whitening ones right?

Hehe, poor you..tired as ever! I somehow don't go to bed without washing my face and brushing my teeth, no matter how tired I am or where I am. I simply have to do both and then go to bed. Very often when we are partying out, we get back home late and my hubby hits the bed immediately and I take atleast 30 mins to change, wash my face and brush my teeth. He tells me, can't you be without doing it for one night..and I say no..lol Well its a good habit and I don't mind doing it.

well, i used to do that when i am still a child... but i learn that mistakes now... a little bit too late though because i got so many holes in my teeth now and i am spending heaps of money now to repair my teeth and i really regret it... i just think if i had listened to my parents advice, i won't have to spend that money to repair my teeth now... i really regret it now... now,i will never ever go to sleep again without brushing my teeth and i make effort to clean my teeth whenever i can...

I hate going to bed without cleaning my teeth! It will only pray on my mind and I will lay there thinking I haven't cleaned my teeth. Even if I am tired I will force myself to get up and struggle to the bathroom. I think of all the acid and plaque that will build up during the night, then I think of the dentist visits and dentist bills and that is enough to scare anyone into cleaning teeth. I also gargle too.

Sometimes when we are too tired we forget to brush our teeth, and just go straight to bed. I do understand that is due to you working night shifts, so as long as when you wake up and wash your face and then clean your teeth this is what I used to do when I used to work night shifts, and I was so tired when I got back home. I am quite sure you would not be the only one that forgot!!

I've sometimes done it but I guess it isn't a good habit to get into. Once your teeth have gone it's too late. I agree that it sometimes the last t hing you feel like doing when you are tired and late home. It's easier when it becomes a habit and unfortunately if you start to miss oftern then not cleaning your teeth at bedtime becomes the habit.

yes, brushing the teeth before going to bed in the night is a must as there is a lot of fastfood and varities of side dishes eaten nowadays that germs find room in the teeth and cause incurable tooth decay that might lead to other health discomforts.

Brushing your teeth?? What's that like??..lol..kidding.
Anyway, thismuch IS true that there're hardly a couple of days in the week when I brush my teeth before sleeping (call me sick and disgusting), even though my dad used to lay great emphasis on this when I was younger and used to ask me every night about it. The habit wore off mostly because of laziness and as the example you cite, drowsiness. However, one thing I'm very good at is brushing my teeth after breakfast in the morning. I'm very regular at this

I have to admit that I'm really bad about brushing my teeth, and I wouldn't brush before bed unless I had just eaten something, anyway, although my best friend always brushed her teeth before bed, I noticed. I don't really see the point in brushing your teeth except right after meals, that's the time when I feel that teeth need to be brushed the most, but of course I know that it is good to brush your teeth before bed, too. I'm just too lazy to do it most of the time, lol.. but don't follow my example, please, as my teeth aren't in the greatest of condition, I also must admit.. but that is from years of not brushing very often.
