Were you disappointed about the American Idols results this evening?

I totally agree with you. I was really mad at the results. I couldn't believe that I have to listen to Antonella again. She is really bad. Sonjaya should have went also. I don't know what's wrong with people. Do they have hearing problems? All I know is they better go this week.

I was surprised. I hope Antonella goes home soon. I was also surprised by Kelly Pickler's new look. Sort of Dolly Parton/Marilyn Monroe combo that did not work for her. I thought it was funny that she did not catch Ryan's meaning when he asked her what she had bought since Idol. Clearly she has gotten implants!

I am pretty disappointed tonight. I thought AJ would survive this week. He had a good performance compared to Sanjaya and yeah Antonella was the worst singer of the last two shows but she survived. What a night!

Ok...here we go again. The two that should have been voted off are still hanging on by a thread. I often wondered if this show is rigged ever since Chris Daughtry got voted off last year. I am still watching the show and have my favorites—Lakisha and Sundance—but I am not sure if the voting is accurate.

I do not watch American Idol so I really dont know anything about it. I just dont watch much TV. So you wre disappointed at the results?

I expected Antonella would survive a bit longer just because of her photos. I am glad to see Leslie go though, as she is the one who I thought was the absolute worst. Honestly, how the hell did she make it this far? Was Simon knocking back the prozac that day she auditioned? I can't believe he would have given her a shot because she just plain missed her calling. I'm disapointed that Alaina got voted off instead of Melinda, Stephanie, or Haley. To me those three were the ones who put on the worst performances the previous night. Antonella, for all the fus that is being made over her is just mediocre. I am pleased to hear that my three favorites Sabrina, Lakisha and Gina survived.

I thought AJ should have stayed and Sanjaya should have gone home. Sanjaya has a decent voice, it just isn't as good as some of the others. And if Antonella doesn't go home soon, I'm going to be angry. I just do NOT like her at all. Her voice stinks. Like Paula said....it is a singing competition not a looks competition.

Yes I was extremely upset. Sanjaya and Antonella are horrible. I think the thing is that people don't vote for who is good, they just vote for who they like personality and lookwise. I didn't like AJ, but his performance was pretty much flawless. I don't think the Leslie girl should have gone home. The scatting was a little bit to Bill Cosby, but other than that it was a solid performance.

My husband and I were watching (he doesn't get to see it much) and I told him that Sanjaya was going home; when he didn't, I thought, "No way!" AJ is a much better singer... The only thing that I can think of is that, the girls (young one's) like his look...He's got a rather babyish face. Also, don't know if people realize this or not but you can vote as many times as you want, for whomever; as long as you can get through. I couldn't even vote for the girls the other night because I wasn't able to get through.

No, I thought Nicholas should have stayed...He has a great voice and deserves a chance. He sounds a lot like Michael Buble (Canadian singer) and will probably go the distance even without AI's help!

It was a strange show. Antonella should definitely have gone home-- she's just living on borrowed time, due to the "cute factor" and the swirling circus about the photos on the Internet. As for Sanjaya, he does have great hair, and probably has a lock on the 12-14-year old girl vote... however his youth (in terms of a voice that lacks maturity) is showing. And it should have been him, not AJ, going home. It seems that no matter HOW much Simon insists "This is a SINGING competition," it still remains a basic popularity contest until we get down to 5-6 people remaining, when actual TALENT becomes the deciding factor.

yup.. definitely... the wrong people were voted out... its more of like a popularity contest now.. i hope its gets better when they have reached the top 12..

I agree....Sanjaya did so much worse than AJ. I was shocked. Did you see his face? Even HE was shocked. For some weird reason Sanjaya is beginning to remind me of Michael Jackson. Weird moves and too soft of voice. I liked him at first. I don't know if he changed or if I did.

I was suprised that AJ got voted off and Sanjaya did not. However, I did agree with Leslie getting voted off. Right from the start, I did not think that she would last. To be honest, Antonella and Nicholas didn't make a huge impression on me. They were not my top fave's but they also weren't people that I was waiting to be voted off. I suppose they would have been voted off before it got to the final twelve anyways...who are your fave american idols this season? I know who I like, but I can't remember their names LOL I'll have to post about it after I watch American Idol this week.

I agree with you. My mother and I watch the show together (although lately I've had to work when the show is on) and we were both shocked when AJ was voted off instead of Sanjaya. I think Sanjaya is a cutie, but he's not right for this competition. Antonella should have been kicked off instead of Leslie, even though I'm not a fan of Leslie. Antonella just didn't cut it this week. I didn't see Nicholas sing, but no one seemed to be surprised at his leaving the show. Anyway, it's all about the voting now. It'll be interesting to see who makes the finals.

I dont know what goin on but the good one are out and the bad ones like Antonella and Sanjaya stayed.Both of them should have godne last week in my opinion.Its the case of the were good in the auditions but not in the live competetion.I feel for Aj,he was good.Oh ,well.

I was very disappointed that AJ had to go.Sanjaya is the one that should of went.Just by looking at him I think he was also shocked that he got to stay.AJ was far a better singer. And for the girls antonella should of went, allready last week, she is not a good singer at all.

I was disappointed very disappointed that AJ had to go...He actually did very very well with his last song. I was impressed. I actually fell asleep early watching the ladies when they performed. lol It also makes me wonder about the voting system as well...But we'll never know...

I was pretty disappointed since I was rooting for AJ coz he is a Filipino (by blood). Moreso, he got a pretty good response from Simon Cowell. And to get a thumbs-up from Simon, you must be pretty good right.

I noticed a lot of peeps here shared the same view that I have about AJ and Sanjaya... I think Sanjaya should be the one voted out. AJ is way better than him. AJ is part Filipino and it was just so disappointing to lose a fella in a big contest like AI.
