National Gaurd

Well we're in the middle of a blizzrd here in Minnesota USA. I jut heard the news. Our Govenor has called the National Gaurd to active duty to assisst in all needed aspects of helping stranded motorists etc. Things aren't looking so good at this time (9p.m.CDT) We've got major Interstate HWY's closing. A couple cities have even claosed ALL their Stare & County HWYs. This is the wrost storm we've had in 16 yrs. that I recall. Halloween 1991 we got 2 feet in one day. My wife works 8 miles from home & the roads are so bad I can't get her. She is staying at a friends house in Minneapolis. I'm also sorry to hear that the southern States are getting hit hard with tornados also. 18 people killed when a school roof collapsed. Some children were killed just not sure how many. My prayers to all that are having this type of devastating weather. Thanks for letting me ramble on. Good luck with the weather wherever you are.

Geez, I am so sorry, that is terrible, I wish here in NY we could take on some of the blizzard for you, we have had a real whimpy winter.
I wish you the best and hope your wife makes it home to you soon.

Wow! You guys are really getting hit with the storm. My husband was stranded overnight and his truck was towed before he could get back to it the next morning after the storm last week. He did finally get it back but he didn't get home til 1:30 the next afternoon. It's snowing again now. Not a lot, just enough to make the roads slippery and be an annoyance.
My 18 yr. old son loves the snow. I told him to move to MN. :-)
