I don't do it as much as I used to, but I am a middle of the night muncher, especially if there is something sweet in the frig like pie. I wake up in the night and can't sleep until I get a little something from the kitchen. Am I the only one or are you a middle of the night muncher too? What do you like to snack on?

I do not actually get up in the middle of the night and snack. I guess I eat anough during the day I am not hungry throughout, but I am very hungry for my morning cereal when I get up in the morning! Sometimes I do eat right up until I go to bed though-to help curb my appetite so I don't wake up hungry in the middle of the night-LOL.

It is a bad habit to eat in the middle of the night just to be eating junk or sweets. It is good that you don't do that. Not all middle of the night eating is bad though. I know diabetics sometimes eat in the middle of the night when they need to bring their sugar level up. I think moderation is the key. Mine is not usually moderation. lol Thanks for posting.

That's good. It really isn't good for you to eat in the middle of the night anyway. A healthy snack before you go to bed sounds great though.

I used to snack in the middle of the night all the time but I stopped a long time ago.I dont eat after dinner unless it's a special occasion. I found out it was best not to eat after dinner from tons of news reports as well as my doctor.

Although I am doing a lot better than I used to. It sounds like you are a lot more disciplined than I am maybe there's hope for me. Thanks for the response.

Actually it never appeared to me being a night muncher.I've read about it,but never have experienced it.Most people have the experience of the occasional midnight snack, but if you find yourself with your head in the fridge night after sleepless night, and fretting as your weight increases in spite of your meager food intake all day,you may be a victim of NES-night eating syndrome.
I fortunately have no problem with it,so it's maybe 'all in the head'- LOL.
Well,I have never left my bed for a kitchen trip I may add.(BTW,no pies in my fridge..)
