terrorist targets

do terrorists only target the powerful countries? this thought came to me just now as i was commenting on another peice on terrorism. sadly i think that, yes, we were a target because of our power over the world

i think we and the US were targetted because of our dominating and exploitative presence in the middle east. It isn't a new thing, we've been there for hundreds of years, but never before were they able to actually attack us in such as they have in the last decades.
