Do you genuinely enjoy cooking or is it something you do just to keep from starving to death? My mom taught me and my 3 brothers how to cook and bake at a young age so we have always done it. I really enjoy coming up with new things to make for dinner. Are you a cook, or are you the king/queen of the microwave?

Oh yes, I definitely like to cook. I enjoy cooking what I feel like eating. Since young I have been trying out different dishes whenever my mom allowed me to use her kitchen but I only cook enough for myself, nobody offered to be guinea pig for me, lol. Through cooking I learnt that patience is required if I want to whip up something which will come out good tasting and not half-cooked or burnt.

I do like to cook and very rarely use the microwave, but am not too impressed if a new recipe that I have tried does not turn out the way it should or does not taste nice. I had to teach myself to cook and a lot was trial and error I must say! Apart from what I learnt in cooking class at school and one tends to forget when it is so long ago! lol

i love cooking, i generally look forward to it every night. it's a challenge to continually improve on dishes and to try to figure out what went wrong (sometimes it happens!). it's great to feed your loved ones.

A few years ago I started cooking some awsome meals for my wife. I mean I cooked for her before then, but nothing to write home about. Then one day while she was still at work I made stuffed peppers and me cooking had began. She worked on Sundays and I would cook if my football team (Cleveland Browns) were lossing. She got a lot of good meals out of that. The cooking kinda took my stress off the game and so when she got home I was not all upset about them losing. Instead I was excited for her to try another one of my meals.
Now a days since we both work M-F its a joint effort.

I do enjoy to cook for family and friends. I always watched my Mom, and Dad cook meals. Cooking for me is fun when I see people enjoy what I have made. Baking is realaxing for me, warm thoughts of my Granny to.
I use the microwave to defrost or rewarm foods.

I love to cook and bake. Nobody ever taught me, and I love to experiment. I never follow a receipe exactly. I am always thinking of things to make different and fun and easy. I enjoy the microwave mostly for heating up things. I bake in the oven and on the stove.

I've been cooking for a big family since i was 4 years old, and i've come to love it. I love cooking and baking, but mostly because i get to experiment and make my own 'inventions' as one might call it.
I can cook anything. I love it, and I'll never stop. I got offered jobs being head cheff and what not, but i don't think i would take it that far, i enjoy cooking, but i think that would take the fun right out of it.

I think it's all about what you like to do nascar_girl_4jr.
It might be one of those things a person is just born to like.
That's me. My dad was a cook. He owned his own bakery and he is the one who did most of the cooking in our family.
I learned at a very early age the 'art' of cooking.
It can be an art or it can be a cold can of pork and beans with weiners (or whatever).
Personally, I LOVE to cook. Give me a well stocked kitchen and a lot of people to cook for and I'm in heaven. If I were 40 years younger I would probably go to chef's school or something.
For me, the satisfaction of spending minutes or hours in the kitchen to make a quick dish or a huge meal mixed with decorating the table, and eveyrone really enjoying the food is a natural high for me.
Heck, I don't even mind cleaning up afterwards.
