I have heard of animals going long distances to return to owners but this was on 9National News that a cat became seperated from it's family while they were on vacation (full story at: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=230059 You will have to copy and paste this URL to get to it. What do you think would your cat walk that far to get back to you and your family?

I think my cats would walk that far to get back to me their mom.LOL But I think it would take some time because they are all overweight so they would have to take alot of rest. LOL I think cats are very smart creatures.

Those stories always amaze me! Sadly, I doubt mine would come back home to me lol. Maybe one would, but my male, he's a tom cat, I think he'd go with anyone that waved some food in his face :)

I have a younger cat that my son just brought home who is that way. But, I think as he gets older he is going to be a great pet. He is more affectionate than the older one. Thanks for the reply.

I think pets do extraordinary things for their owners.

I don't know. My cat is pretty smart as well as pretty lazy. I think he might hitch a ride or stow away. He would definitely get to me. Of that I am certain.

I know my cat would find his way home no matter where he is at. My dog will too, although not sure if they would travel together or not. lol My animals adore me cause I saved both their lives at one point in time. Lightning from the time he was born and Domingo from an abusive home.

I doubt it. Heck, my cats can almost get lost in the back yard, in sight of the house. I had one spend almost a week in a tree because he got up and couldn't get down!
