I have heard of animals going long distances to return to owners but this was on 9National News that a cat became seperated from it's family while they were on vacation (full story at: http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=230059

What do you think would your cat walk that far to get back to you and your family?

I don't know. My cat is pretty smart as well as pretty lazy. I think he might hitch a ride or stow away. He would definitely get to me. Of that I am certain.

I know my cat would find his way home no matter where he is at. My dog will too, although not sure if they would travel together or not. lol My animals adore me cause I saved both their lives at one point in time. Lightning from the time he was born and Domingo from an abusive home.
