Problems with Yahoo mail?

Yes i am having problems with yahoo too..I can be on mylot and all of a sudden a window comes up to redial,and im off line...I just thought it was because i have dial up.My computer is a very good updated computer and i bought it new from Dell,but it has slowed down to a crawl..It takes me forever to answer questions because it takes so long to log on,and then it goes off when i am in the middle of answering a question,then i have to stop and strt over..I have been putting it off because i am moving back to Houston,to get the high speed..I don't have it here,but i can get it once I move either through the cable company or satilite...It just makes it a long drawed out thing to do anything and it irritates me....

I haven't had that problem. But I've had my yahoo account for a few years. The last couple days whenver I want to sign out, I always get an error that yahoo mail isn't responding. I just send error report and go from there. I've never had problem getting to my mail.

I've been using Yahoo Mail for a long time too and I've never had any problems. I have 4 email ids on yahoo, and I check all 4 everyday. Which browser are you using? Sometimes few programs get hanged on certain browsers. Trying switching between browsers maybe that will help. I can't think of anything else that could be causing this. Maybe somebody else who is more qualified will assist you:)

hmm i have used yahoo for years. i have never had that kind of problem. is it just on the computer you are using or every other computer. maybe try no thaving mylot send you all the responses. i don't know also try emailing yahoo to find out if they know whats going on.

I use yahoo mail as well the best thing with yahoo is not to use the beta yahoo mail site as this caused me problems also, so be ware of this beta yahoo mail and go back to how you normally used to receive your mail and you should not have the same problems. Hope that this helps.

I think it may be a problem with your cookies as thay monitor your logins and other things you do so try and see if you can allow cookies. Hope this helps.

If you are really facing trouble with yahoo what I can advice you is to send a mail to yahoo with the description of you mail account problem and I am sure yahoo will respond you with its solution.GoodLuck

till now I haven't got any problem till now however I am using Yahoo mail from about 3-4 years but I am satisfied with it i also use hotmail offently but I a very loyal customer of yahoo and I think it is much better than hotmail I think most of the people agree with my opinion and I really don't know how you got problem with yahoo.

I don't have a yahoo email address but I never heard of my friends who have such email address that they got problems.

i faced this problem many times. i suppose this was because of the beta version that they launched. but this problem was a fortnight ago and now it seems to be alright.. there's also another problem with yahoo and that's the composure of mail... maximum of mails are not send..

I have yahoo mail account for three or four years so not quite as long as you but I have not any problems with mine. I have a couple of other email services also and have no problem with any of them. I am going to have to change my email and use one of my less used one to send all my mylot notification of friends new discussions to. Thanks for the thought of using one mail email service for the mylot notivacations.

I'm have the same problem, it keeps happening over and over again. I keep getting the same MyLot post sent to me more than once. When will the madness stop?

yahoo groups seem to be having problems again. in general i feel like i get great service from yahoo. do you like yahoo beta? i keep having to stitch back because i can't change my sig. on beta. anyone else have that problem?

Yes, indeed, I have the same problem with yahoo mail. It wasn't like that before. They had this yahoo beta mail but I returned to the original yahoo mail. And as you said, everytime I open a file it locks up and I have to log in again. It's frustrating. I thought there was a problem with our internet connection in the office. Now that I've read your post I realized the problem must be with yahoo.

up till now i dint had any such problems till now but when i will logged in for long time with working it it will ask me to login once again and then it will work

well i have'nt faced such type of problem but ya yahoo has got lot many problems which makes service inconvinent

seems like there is some problem with the yahoo accounts these days,... i have heard of this from a number of people having problems with yahoo netowrk,... sometimes the problem would be of cache and cookies,... you could try to clear those of,..

Hi there, Fortunately, I did not encounter the same problem upon visiting my yahoo account which has been existing for severals years. There might be minor problems as far as I can remember but I think not that often or would rather say it rarely happens.
