my dvd drive just clicks when I put dvd in

Hardly used the dvd at all but laptop just over the guarantee period, it wont read anything or play anything I have had to buy an external unit. Also where can I find details of the keyboard key functions?????

check if you really have it installed or the wire on the back of the dvd is correctly inserted. otherwise the dvd is broken and you can throw it away.
at what functions are you refering ? F1 ,F2.... or something else ?
