my dvd drive just clicks when I put dvd in

Hardly used the dvd at all but laptop just over the guarantee period, it wont read anything or play anything I have had to buy an external unit. Also where can I find details of the keyboard key functions?????

wizencreakle The dvd drive is part of the lap top but I hardly used it at all, when I insert a dvd into the drive of the lap top it just clicks and does not read the dvd at all
