I was thumbing through channels which brought me to this topic.... I remember alot of tv shows, I couldn't wait to watch when I came home from school... Some of my favorites were as follows: Good Times (Classic), The Little Rascals, Laverne & Shirley (I loved singing the song), What's Happening, The Cosby Show, Different World, 227, The Muppet Show *smile*, ALF, Hill Street Blues, Three's Company...My list could go on and on... Those are just a few shows, I enjoyed and look forward to watching...Every now and then, they will have some type of marathon where it airs all the old episodes for the weekend or for a day...I enjoy those as well.. Do you remember the television shows you enjoyed that no longer air anymore? If so, please share...

Gimme A Break was a great show that I miss. I remember my grandma loved that show and so did I. It was a wonderful show back in the 80s. I can't find it showing anywhere, either. I LOVE watching Nick at Night for I Love Lucy, Laverne and Shirley, Good Times, etc. ALF...ahhhh, that was great! I loved that show, too. :) Trapper John MD was a fav of mine, too. LOVED THAT SHOW!!!

I guess I'm going back a little farther but I miss "All in the Family," "F Troop," "the Betty White Show" when we was about 25 and had black hair, "the Donna Reed Show," "Father Knows Best," and just a decade ago, "One Day at a Time", "Night Court," "Married with Children." I remember watching "Leave in to Beaver" but I'm not going to be watching any marathons any time soon. Of the game shows I loved "Match Game," "Concentration" and "You Don't Say" I do miss Love Boat, Fantasy Island, the Commish, Quincy and many more too numerous but I do miss my old shows as well and the ones you mentioned too. I could go on but I think I'll stop there.

Well there have been a lot of great show mentioned. I really miss facts of life, silver spoons, hunter, the cosby show, charlies angels (although I have this on dvd so i still do get to watch it), gimme a break, different strokes, eight is enough, and one day at a time. But the two that I miss the most are Scarecrow and Mrs. King and Cagney and Lacey. In my opinion Cagney and Lacey is the best tv show ever made, and I am impatiently waiting for it to come out in dvd from the studios. I know there are already ones out on dvd that are recorded, but I heard they were actually working on releasing it from the studios, so I am waiting. I don't kow how much longer I will wait because I just love it.

We have On Demand with our cable service and one the categories thye have is called Tube Time where they show old shows. They did have One day At a time a few months ago and we watched that. Right now we are naking our way thorugh Silver Spoons right from the beginning. It is so much fun watching them. Boy does it take us back to our childhood. My sister was in love with Ricky Schroder and we had posters of him plaster all over our room. Oh the memories. I keep waiting for them to show Facts of Life from the beginning but they haven't yet. They also have Soap, Charlies Angels, Betiwtched and I Dream OF Jeanie. Who needs to watch new shoes when there are all tehse great old goofy shows to watch.

I know there used to be a lot of shows that I used to watch for hours! I can't think of all of them for some reason. I remember the original Power Rangers they were the best, Family Matters...damn! They're not coming to me...but I'm sure there are a lot because I've noticed there are so many new shows on that don't even match the old shows...I miss them =(

I just realised a couple of other shows that i loved in my teenage years. Beverly Hills 90210 (i dont know why i thought Luke Perry and Jason Priestley were hot). What about that show with the theme that started out with the words "I see a rainbow and I want it painted black" it was something to do with vietnam or another war.
