What is your favorite steak marinade? Mine would have to be GrillMates Montreal steak in the bottle. Love the taste!

I like the Mesquite Marinade from Lawry's. I've not used any of their marinades that I haven't liked. The Mesquite tastes good on chicken also. But, there is just something about it on steak that gives it that great grill flavor that will knock your socks off :).

Does it really knock your socks off? LOL jk. Ray and I tried the Lawry's Carribeian Jerk (spelling) the other night and that was really good on our steaks.

I've tried that one too...they have a lime one that is good too. I made it with chicken, then soaked veggies in it for a while, then sauteed it all together, it was really good. I love the Lawry's sauces. Also, you can sometimes go to their websites and print out coupons for them. I had one that was buy one get one free, then the Comm. had them on sale for like 99 cents. I was so excited..LOL

There are so many out there that are good but, I have to say I like Mr Stubbs Marinades. They seem light, not heavy. You can still taste the flavor of the meat. It doesn't over power, and gives it that added flovor I enjoy.

I love Mr. Stubbs but it is hard to find down here in the south. LOL Are you going to mail me some? Actually I think I have seen it at our Walmart.

We have it at our wal Mart and also...his BBQ sauce is absolutely the best. It tastes so good on Chicken and pork cooked on the grill. Just the right amount of spices.

I don't normally marinade my steaks but when I do due to them being very tought meats I just use a cheapy italian dressing. I find if I put a few holes in the steak and then soak it in that it works wonderfully. Makes the meat nice and tender and it tastes fantastic.

I seldom marinade my steaks, I love smothering them in butter when cooking them and I have to have my A1 sauce!!
