i believe many people still respect Gandhiji.....only thing is that few of them voice their opinion and people who disagree with his practices are much more vocal.

Hi friend, Nobody can agree with you. Everyone is having respect to gandhi and his policies. But the thing is, no one is making his policies in practice.

in my opinion the best way of respecting him is by following his principles... i think he is still remembered only on october second and january thirteeth... if u hav love for something it should be expressed... in the same way by following his principles we can show our respect and our gratitude....

ya,he got respect from all over the country...We all respect him ...so,we are celebrating gandhi jayanthi......But we are not following his ways that he did in the past.......this we are not respecting him.,we respected him as a person but not to his ethics....We should feel ashame of it....

Well i could say, he got respect from all human beings. And betrayed and hatred by all heartless butchers. Any true human being would always have their respects for him, if someone dont, then they are just an alien creatures.

I'm an Indian and have a lot of respect for Gandhiji's simple life, principles and sacrifice for my country. Youngsters today need to be grateful to people like him for the freedom they enjoy now. I dont think the few controversialised stories about him should be given any importance and we should respect him for who he was and what he's done.
