I am not proud to say am not that much of a water drinker because I know water is so good for our body. But being pregnant, that is one of the things the doctor tells you, drink plenty of water. I got no choice but to drink and drink but I know I always fall short of my daily water intake. Any suggestions on how to make water more "attractive" to drink so I can at least consume 8 glasses a day or more?

Depending on the constitution of body, one should drink 2 to 3 litres of water every day, of which more quantity in the the morning itself. This is not only good for pregnant woman, it is good for all the persons. Drinking water helps among other things, good skin, free from common ailments like cough, sneeze, cold, giddiness, fatigue etc. It also helps one to clear the toxins and keep people active throughout the day.

I am on a medication that requires I drink a lot of water. I always have drank a lot of a daily basis anyway...but one thing I notice helps it to make the water really cold. Keep what you need to drink in your fridge, so it is always nice and cold. Or even add ice to it. I always liked crushed ice, just made it easier to drink. Or you could even put a little lemon in it...that may help! I was always told 8-8oz glasses a day. And it you think about it..that is only four water bottles. That may sound like a lot if your dont drink water though. You might also try to discipline yourself to drink at certain times. Like one, or a half when you get up in the morning. Then at breakfast, lunch, snack times, dinner, etc. I hope this helps. Once you start drinking more water though, you may be amazed at how you feel. Have a great day! :)

Try to exercise that would really make you thirsty, that is what i am doing now,and also try the flavored tea,i bought an instant tea and i put a lemon on it its really good but wait,i think tea is not good for pregnant coz there is caffein in it,but that's all i can suggest, right now i drink a lot of water.

oh i was the same way when i was pregnant, and im sure the same thing is going to happen with baby #2. by the end of my pregnancy i had to drink a cup that they gave me it was 36oz and i had to drink 6 of those a day!!! by the time i finished my 3rd cup i felt sick, so i would go a buy LOTS of Propel, flavored water. its just as good for you and i could handle it alot better. oh and the only reason i had to drink that much at the end of my pregnancy was because of my blood pressure, which i ended up being induced 2 weeks later. thats ok though cause i gave birth a day before my due date.
