Maybe it isn't to do with the amount of sleep that you have, but the quality of sleep. If you are stressed then you may not be sleeping very deeply or having bad dreams. it might be worth you trying some relaxation before bed and seeing if that helps you sleep. Also make sure you are eating high energy foods including fruit, vegetables and complex carbohydrates rather than sugar snacks.
