Are you receiving email alerts

I've been recieving emails from mylot saying that my friends have posted...so I'm not sure why you haven't gotten them. I only have a few friends, though, so it might be a problem with people that have more friends/a lot of friends.

I haven't received a notification since Thursday 2:00pm PST I contacted mylot on Friday and was informed they were working on the problem and it would be fixed shortly. It seems to be intermittent. I might suggest sending them an email, I sent another one last night to let them know the problem for me still wasn't fixed. I too can only view through the link "Discussions My Friends Started" I much prefer my way of using the email link to go to the discussion. :) All of your settings are most likely fine, it's something to do with mylot. I hope that it's fixed soon. :)

welcome back pal , hope you had a good time , I stopped my email alerts because I was getting hundreds lol and it was frightening , A couple of my friends here said they weren't getting theirs either . I just go through mine as my friends discussions and sometimes I have missed some of them so I go and catch up , hope that makes sense lol , I am tired tonight xx

I have not recieved ANY emails from mylot, and i dont know why, i checked my settings and they are still correct. maybe they are having problems at mylot.

no i get it very often but then have less friends so why i am not getting as many you may b getting........... ................... .............................cheers

I haven't received any - I only receive email notification of replies to my own discussions. I'm definitely going to go look at email settings now, though, to see if I can notification of friend posts too - I don't want to miss those. :)

Ihaven`t been recieving any for a while now they must be having a few problems again this has happened before and then all of a sudden they all came through my mail went mad

I have had no problem with mine but yesterday I saw where someone else had the same problem. I had that same problem about a month ago so I contacted myLot admin and it was a system glitch. Just to be safe check and see if all your friend's notifiers are turn on. They have also had a glitch where some users notifier were switched off.

There are few members that I notified them On, and every time they are posting a new discussion, I get an e-mail that let me know about it. If I will notify all of my friends, my e-mail will explode, and my internet company probably will charge me for that :). Every time I log in to myLot, I enter to: "Discussions my friend's started", and that way I can respond to all my friends discussions.

I've had trouble for some time now; written to staff and I know they are trying to alleviate the situation; one day I get them and the next, I get nothing... I just received one, today, that was started a week ago. I hope they get what's wrong fixed soon. They do work so hard, as we all can imagine... I also have had to go through my friends, one at a time just to see if they've started anything and I haven't received emails about responses to my discussions as well... Let's try hard not to beat the staff up; I'm sure they're doing their best.

You should turn "on" your setting. Otherwise, you didn't receive email alerts when your friends place posts. Please go to "friends" on the top and choose "friends". After that, please turn "on" your setting. You should be able to receive email alerts. Otherwise, you can contact myLot.

I posted a similar post two days ago, and at the same time advised the administrators. I'm still waiting for a response.

Ive never gotten emails when my friends post. I didnt kno that I could do that.

Now that you mentioned it I just check discussions my friends started and I an NOT getting my email notifications. But I am still getting notifications when the respond to my discussions.

I have had that problem since March 1. I contacted mylot admin, they said they were looking into it and I haven't heard from them since. How long does it take them to fix the darn thing it is ridiculous

It is a glitch taramoon and should be set right soon. I had a inbox full of mails to attend to since morning as I was away for the weekend, but now I realized mail notifications aren't coming in or are very slow. I got 3 private messages 15 minutes ago and got mail notifications only for 2 of them. So don't go meddling with your mail settings hon, wait up!:)

Yes, I'm still receiving alerts from my lot everytime any of my friend started a discussion. maybe you can check your my lot settings and see if there's anything that change for your alerts.

I haven't had emails telling me of friends discussions when they're posted. I usually get a huge chunk of them in my inbox the next morning, and I find that my inbox is full to overflowing, so I turned the notifications off and go through the Discussions My Friends Started folder like you do instead. It's not your email settings at all. It's a glitch at Mylots end and it seems there have been a fair few of them just recently. I suggest you hang in there though because Mylot will get round to sorting it out eventually,

no i only get the alerts telling me stuff like i have comments to my disscussion and if someone commented on my comment.
