I have to say that this is a very hard subject for me to talk about but i would like to voice this because i was dealing with this and i know other people that were as well. Not to long ago i cut myself on purpose. I was afraid alone and felt nothing i had no feelings at all so in my mind i had to cut myself to feel something even if it was pain. I have thought about suicide as well as a way out. I had so much pain in my life that i figured "whats the point, why go on" my brother had passed away two years prior only being 16 and then my 18 year old next door neighbors baby passed away in my home. It's so upsetting, and then on top of it all my boyfriend broke up with me. I was alone and really didnt' hang out with friends like i should have been doing. I started to see a counselor how ever that really didn't last cause i don't have the money for it. So i decided to go to the doctor and got on meds now im fine for the most part. The doctor i am seeing sugested that i write in my diary so im doing that as well. I was wanting to know what ways everyone else out there uses to subside the depression you feel

I used to cut myself too a few years back. They found out so they took me to the doctor and the doctor gave me some meds which in a way helped me. I dont cut no more but sometimes the urge to do so still comes up. I cant really say I have stopped because when I get extremely mad or sad, I do cut myself. I think a diary would help, I used to write one but I lost it and didn't want to write a new one. Take care of yourself and bear in mind that you are not alone. Even if you are then just think of me and know that you will never walk alone..hehehehe..

there are alot of online support forums out there. You should check it out. Sometimes it helps to talk to other people that have the same things going on with them.

good advise!!! Some meds for certain people can help as well they aren't all expensive. Some make you gain weight but you can talk to your doctor about those that wont my doctor put me on some that will actually help me lose some weight he thinks thats part of my problem
