Well normally when i get time alone i generally clean and do the same things that you mentioned i also take time to write in my diary. and sleep. and i also practice my singing. I like my alone time but as most people get bored after a few hours of being alone.

I like to go for a bike ride or maybe just sit on a rock out by the lake and watch the water if the weather is nice. If it is rainy, nothing is better than curling up on the bed with a good book or my laptop computer. Having time to myself seems like a luxury. I suppose it would get old in a hurry if I had too much of it.

When I get my alone time I usually pamper myself. I go to the salon for haircut. Or do my own foot spa and manicure and pedicure. If I feel lazy I just read a book or magazine or go to the grocery and buy knick knacks. Sometimes I go out and treat myself in a fine dining restraunt when I am alone.

I do a lot of the same things. I spend a ton of time alone... I have insomnia so I stay up for a good 5 hours after my husband goes to sleep, and when I wake up I spend another 4 or 5 hours alone before he comes home from work. I surf, read, clean, cook, do laundry, talk on the phone... sometimes I just lay around and watch a movie. Or I'll take a long, hot bath... get caught up on bills and e-mail.

"Alone" time for me seems to be a luxury i do not have. My weekdays are occupied with work 6am till 12mn. While I spend my weekends with my 2 kids, and with the laundry of course, hahaha.
But whenever I get the chance to be alone, I go to the library and isolate myself in a very quiet corner. I do these once in two months. In some luckier "alone" moments, either I walk around in the neighborhood, get some fresh air, or just simply stare at the full moon. But if I really feel devastated and badly needs some time alone, I get my notebook and pen, and start journaling. In my journal, i would shout-out my unspoken thoughts.
