How old is your little one?
My daughter started reading with this site - http://www.progressivephonics.com when she was 4 and it really helped her.
Other sites I would suggest are http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies and http://www.underfives.co.uk/
Hope this helps.

My daugther is 3 1/2. Thank you for the links. The progressive phonics looks interesting and I'm glad it's free! Thanks!

Include your little one in things you do. Cooking, the little one can help you count and stuff. Grocery shopping you can teach about numbers and letters. Draw alot. Shapes, symbols, vowels etc.
