I was SPAMMED and I HATE it!!!

I was not been posting actively for a matter of days because I was loaded with work and reviews on my upcoming law exam and when I sign in and try to post a respond to some friends who respond to my discussion I just notice that I was spammed, initial reaction? I'm a human and it is a human nature to be angry.
I'm not very intellectual individual I'm only a simple woman with expressive mind and I can say I really do work hard to think of a credible discussion to start on myLot that some members will learn from it and I will learn from them too.
When you discover your discussion was spammed you felt you get snatched or rob by a thief silently without knowing it.
We are all here to be unique, to be expressive, to learn and be our very ownself by making our own discussion somewhat unique no matter how it was mispelled or not grammatically correct it doesn't matter as long as it is yours.
So to all you love to spammed beware for no matter how you keep it the real author will likely discover it and it is annoying to have a respond to your spammed discussion that says something like " Gee, you perfectly got a piece of my discussion words for words, Great job"

Oh my goodness that is dreadful when you have been spammed on here and I do hope that you reported this it is dreadful after all we are supposed to have minds of our own and so why do other people spam us as you have been. I really love your discussions and was surprised that someone has done this to you.

People really never learn, they just post nonsense response to mess up with the discussions of others. I think they should teached a lesson, or maybe give them their own medicine?
The discussion 'crashers' are at it again, it's better if you report them immediately!;)

Some members are having hard time to start thier own discussion that's why they tend to copy others.

an obvious juvenile, i might say.don't bother with these guys because they have a world of their own, out there.you might have posted a similar discussion and the juvenile thought , to his or her perception that it's their's.you know how the mind works and how juveniles imagines.for us, who knows how your mind works, we don't think so.chin up!just keep on posting!

I'm sorry to hear that. But those people who immitated your writings word for word are just envy or jealous of you. It simply shows you have a brighter mind than them and that they don't have any creative mind to write something about. So, I feel what you feel. It's normal to feel bad and be angry. Nobody wants to be spammed. There are just people who just lacks attention and wants to be praised. And for them, one way to do that is to spam. So beware of these heck people! :)

Thanks myworld_and_you for the compliment, I think as a myLot member everybody should be unique on thier own way even not so brilliant enough as long as they knew how to express thier thoughts there is no need to copy other discussion.

Yeah,from your discussions that I have responded to I am aware that you invest a lot of time and effort to discuss real issues and it's only natural to feel bad when someone copies and posts them as their own.I hope they heed the warning and don't repeat it.It would be sad if Mylot has to intervene and warn them .

thanks bluewings! I just discover it awhile ago the very same title that I use 3 weeks ago and then I read the post and saw it was started 2 weeks ago so it is clear that I was the real author and gee words are very same.
I wish them luck! they will never grow as a person and as a good member if they tend to do that for they are ruining thier reputation on myLot.

Absolutely.Copy-paste will be attracting - rating and all their posts will be put on scanner from there on.It's not worth to copy discussions because it can't help here.

Haven't yet faced it even once, touch wood. Actually I have seen a few discussions on MyLot which are same, word to word. Actually there are some fools who just do not know how and what to do here at mylot so they just start stealing others discussions and ideas. I hate that myself and I would be equally angry if something of that sort happened to me.

You know, spamming is already a situation which is very normal in mylot. As we all know, mylot pays for the discussions which you post and replied. Imagine, those guys who spams can actually earn money from spamming. So, why don't they do so when they are paid for that ? What we can only do is to give them a negative rating. Report abuse doesn't work on spamming.

i hate spam!!!!!!!!it is the most annoying thing ever happened to us in this tech industries.but..its nature that we human come from many different colours ...many different kind of ATTITUDES!!!
we encounter many kind of spams in our daily basis.they are everywhere..there is time when i feel like i want to do something about it..i want to make it stop..but then again..in the next day, another new comer showed up..and you will have to sit back and began to think..why should i care!!????right..we just can hope that someone will punish them..GOD..

The experience angered me although, it was not my discussion which was copied. I made a response to a certain discussion which was excellently presented and found it to be truly rewarding to be reading something so good about cloud watching. A hobby I've always loved. Only to find out after posting that, it was a copy paste from someone else's. I came across it few minutes after posting my response. I can't help myself but make a response to the one who posted it first to let him/her know about it. I hope this kind of thing stops and may the mylot moderators find a way to eliminate this. Certainly, I will not welcome anyone who will do it to me.

That is so right trinidadvelasco moderators should really keep an eye to our discussion to avoid copy and paste for it is something very depressing to the real author of a certain discusion.

They are even in blogs.
I hope someone can come up with something that would prevent these people.

Spamming looks like a malicious act on the surface, however, if you look deep inside the whole issue, then you find that the service provider has to also be blamed for not having a proper mechanism to filter out spam.
Mylot is still quite poor in implementing facilities for members. Your, problem could easily have been avoided if your discussion thread could have been locked (you can do that in a lot of discussion boards). If your thread was locked, then nobody would have been able to reply!. So, after a longtime your thread will be still intact as the way you left it.
Also, Mylot's pay model is also an enticement for spammers
who think that they can flood the board, with one line answers, starting multiple discussions etc.
So, i think its a problem that will continue until Mylot does something, its very difficult to expect people to change their attitudes when there are loopholes in the system.

During one of my correspondence with mylot I had been told that the community was actually been attacked by some unethical members almost from every directions they can think of such as cheating(copy and paste on other's discussions),post a genetic responses as to boot up their rating and earnings, copy the answers from the net and etc.I had not came across any such case happened to me so far but I truly support on you as to voice out your unhappiness to this matter and I hope that you had log your report to mylot to helping them to filter out all these unwanted activities.Thanks for telling us about this as to make us more aware of it and hopefully those deserved to be punish will get their punishments accordingly soon.

yes, i know how you feel... i will also be very angry and upset if somebody steal my discussions and ideas... if they don't have anything to post, then better not to post anything... just respond... they don't have to steal people's ideas just to earn some extra bucks...

That was very true lingli and I don't see any good on doing that aside from earning some bucks but truth shall prevail that's why we really be more knowleadgable to start a discussion rather than to steal if don't have discussion to start then better to be respond to some existing discussion as easy as that.

That is so wrong. You work so hard at your discussions, it is not fair for people to copy them. Don't let it get you down. They are only trying to make themselves look better by using someone intelligents discussion. I hope this never happens to you again.
