Who loves cakes here? I definitely am!!!.. lol ...Well, Am not quite sure if you have these cake suppliers or manufacturers in your country. But here in our city Red Ribbon and Goldilocks are the ones which are known to be the places you should go if you're looking for the "best" cakes for any occasions. I actually just got one for my younger brother's 14th birthday last week and am again getting one for my niece's 2nd birthday on Monday...Wheewww am the cake lady in the house... lol For the birthday cakes, I usually go for the Goldilocks' coz there are a lot of great bday cakes you can choose from and you can even get some personalized ones if you want to with a fair enough price. Red Ribbon also has beautiful and tasty cakes but I seldom get one from them... it's pretty expensive there... lol what about in your place, what are the known great cake makers there?

I love cakes too! Yummy!! There are a lot of places where you can get good cakes in Manila. There's Becky's, Bizu, Conti's, and the list goes on and on. But the thing is, cakes can be very expensive. We have Goldilock's and Red Ribbon here in San Diego, CA but you have other places to go for "budget cakes."

We dont usually get that many cakes. Somebody in the familyusually makes them. I don't eat that much. After about three pieces I tend to get tired of it. I don't really know what , we're just not big cake eaters. We make of buy one and some of it always goes to waste.

There are a lot of private in home cake caterers, and our local grocery makes customized cakes. Dairy Queen makes personalized ice cream cakes. We have a fairly new little shop downtown, started in her home then got too big. She calls herself " The Cake Lady" She makes really cue cakes, pies and cookies of all kinds.

I usually prefer Red Ribbon over Goldilocks. Eventhough it's kinda expensive, but the price you pay is just worth it for the taste you deserve. I love to eat cakes so Red Ribbon would be my choice. However, what makes me sigh sometimes is that you have to eat it right after it's been pulled out from the fridge, otherwise, it will melt. :)

Am not really a cake fan, but I still do love cakes, especially when you go eat it with some kids around... lol it's fun to be with the kids while you are eating some sweets like cakes, ice creams, and candies...it make me feel younger somehow..lol well, Goldilocks or Red Ribbon are both making good cakes here in Cebu but if I got to choose one, I'd go for Red Ribbon coz their's is really delicious though a little expensive compared to Goldilocks. Anyhow, it's still worth it!

I'm more of an ice cream cake fan myself. For great ice cream cakes around here, I like to go to either Herrell's or Ben & Jerry's. Ben & Jerry's especially has some really wacky and great designs.

People in Iloilo City usually go to Tinapayan for delicious cakes at affordable prices. Red Ribbon cakes are overpriced and Goldilocks is ok. By the way Goldilocks is not that popular in Iloilo. I wonder which city in the Philippines you are located at?

In my area the best cakes come from the Dillons bakery or Baskin- Robbins for ice cream cakes. I had my daughters baby picture put on a cake for her 21st b-day. She and the rest of the family loved it and Dillons did a great job. My hubby's favorite is made by me. I make a cherry chocolate cake to die for. Yummmy! Really moist and it's good frosted with cookie crumb frosting or milk chocolate frosting.
