Hello Guys! Just to let u know . I worked for a credit card company and I want to tell that their best customer is not the person paying in full. There best customer who is late and making minimum payments. Also if you are late on any other accounts outside of them they will increase your rate to a higher interest rate. Don't be a victom to your credit cards guys. Don't make the man rich off your hard earn money.

I agree with starting with your smallest balance. Dave Ramsey asserts that personal finance is is 20% knowledge and 80% behavior. Paying off the smallest ones first will give you the sense of accomplishment that will inspire you to stick with it. It's like being on a diet - we all know what to do but it's hard to do it. Paying off the highest interest rate is the "intelligent" way to do it, but starting with the smallest balances will keep you motivated. And in the long run, you'll need the motivation to continue on until you are debt free. Best of luck to you!

That may be true until the person quits making payments altogether and then they have to decide to go through the expensive collection process whch many times gets them a zero return. The higher interest rates and late payment fees now represents the greater risk this customer represents.
