I know what you mean, sometimes (depending on the subject) topics can become very repetive. It states in myLot guidelines not to repeat (exactly) discussion topics. One should always do a tag/keyword search before starting a topic to make sure they aren't repeating a previous post...however, that is one of my bones of contention, if a discussion isnt' tagged correctly, they keywords and search do no good. If reported and they (myLot admin) catch repeated topics, they will delete them...except the original, if they can trace it down to time of posting. To the best of my knowledge, the discussion they delete aren't archived, but I don't know for certain. Whoever posts the repeated discussion and those that respond will lose earnings and their points when a discussion is deleted.

Thank you very much for best response. It isn't really spelled out clearly in the guidelines, other than stating that duplicated/copied discussions will be removed. It has through experiences on the site that I have discovered this flaw, lol. I have been here since October 31. Thanks again, and best of luck here in myLot-land.

wow really?! that's nice to know. but you're right, if discussions aren't tagged correctly they can be a little confusing. people tag differently from other people so maybe the repeated topics aren't monitored properly. is this, by any chance, written in a myLot rules and guidelines? Is there such a thing? pardon my ignorance. but thanks for the detailed explanation. i'm now marking my best response! ^___^

Yes, I've seen a lot of duplicate discussions since I've been here and I wondered the same thing. But, with a community which is growing like wildfire, and now on a massive 76,578 member count, I would think it's extremely difficult to modify every discussion.
Brightest Blessings.

When I started, that really bothered me because I was hesitant to post my questions thinking it was asked probably a LOT of times already..and veteran myLot users (I can see, such as yourself =)) are probably tired of answering the same questions. But you're correct, with the increasing number of myLot users, it's kind of difficult to moderate each and every discussion out there. Thanks for replying! XD
