Do you leave the seat up or down on your toilet?

Life would be so much better if all people put the seat down, AND closed the lid. It is the polite thing to do, and I saw on Oprah or some other show that a fine mist sprays through the area around your toilet when it is flushed. If the lid is down you don't have to worry so much about the spread of minute fecal bacterias. YUCK

I leave the seat up,but when my nephew of 3 years goes to toilet if pulls the seat down

I am a women and I agree!! I hate when the seat is left up. But it hardly ever is. My husband and son are both aware that I do not like it, nor does my daughter and they put it down. I also have to have the lid down on top because I don't like the dogs drinking out of there. That bothers me too. Oh, and flushing. When I first met my husband that was a big one. Like it was not nessassary to flush when you just pee. Come on, flush always. That includes when you hock a lugee in there!!!

I leave it down. It is so easy to do. I was trained that way. And after sitting down a couple times without looking and being surprised...I am commited to putting it back down. It takes a second...it is so easy to do and helps everyone out!

I always put the seat down, I don't want my kids to be tempted to play in the water!!

Up, Down who cares? I am single again and could care less. I am lucky to flush the darn thing sometimes.
