I do when my roses are blooming. I have 13 rose bushes, and I just love them. The flowers smell so good, and when they are all in bloom at the same time, the whole neighborhood can smell them. I also have a jasmine bush that has taken over my front fence. I love bringing cuttings into the house....it just makes the whole house smell sooooo good.

Whenever we can aford to we keep cut flowers in our home. i think it is a lovely way of decorating a room. It adds a bit of beauty, some colors, and lovely scents. My parents always have fresh flowers in their livingsroom, and I think it is a very nice custum. I wish we will be able to have them all the time too.

I love flowers myself and find myself with alot of plants that bloom in my house year around along with some vines, It seems to add a very pleasant aroma and color to the house. As far as outside goes I plant flowers all around my house for I love watching the birds and that helps me to bring in hummingbirds and a variety of smaller birds..I just recently started watching birds around the house so am really gonna go all out this summer with bird feeders to go with all my flowers.

I love to have fresh flowers in the house! In fact, I was looking at the azaleas yesterday. They are just starting to bloom and I should be able to pick some this weekend for a nice bouquet! I also have camelias that bloom in the winter and some wild iris' in the yard. I used to have roses until the hubster cut them all down. I think one survived! And a flowerbed that the hubster also got. I give up trying!

I don't have much of a garden either, but I have a couple of beautiful vases that I have filled with silk flowers from our local craft store. Over the last several years, I have bought several bunches of these flowers and I put the ones I am not using in a plastic bag and store them on an unused closet shelf.
At Christmas, I bring out the two bags I have with a bouquet of Poinsettas and stick them in my vases. In the Spring, I bring out Daffodils, and other spring-like flowers and stick them in. In the late summer, I have bouquets of Gladiolas. Wait until the silk flowers are on sale and you can buy your bouquets for very little money.
Buy as many as you can afford so you can change them often. By keeping them each in a separate plastic bag, you keep the dust off and the flowers are already still arranged so that changing them only takes a minute.
