When you look at a Website, what catches your attention first?

If there is a picture, do you look at that first? If the picture is interesting does that make you want to read the words on a page?

Yes, the picture is easy to understand. People do not wanna spend a lot of time on finding out the content of the page.

You know, I've never really thought about it til I read this post. I think probably I prefer something that looks professional, not too cluttered, a good color scheme, buttons that are easy to find for where I want to navigate to --and no music!

I aways look at the picture, but picture can be worng sometimes, like you probaly think the man on the picture is my husband he is not. I took that picture 10 ago with these famous Jazz Artist. I am a fan of his. he is a Electric piano player. and is quite good. If you know Kenny G. the famous Saxaphone player they started out together. But Kennt G is Big time now. they usally play Jeff Lober on the Smooth Jazz all over the world. so you can not go by pictures. that is an example. he could be a women instead of man. like a few of my friends I thought they were men but they were women.
