Happy Women's Day!! What about Happy Men's Day?

Today we are celebrating International women's day.Why only one day ? Why don't men celebrate International men's day?Or do they too?
Is there the need even today,to reiterate the fact that men and women are equal ?
Everyday is our day.Everyday is men's day too.

Yes,this day is special,special because we want to remind ourselves that we respect women.That we consider them equal.Do you think we are wrong? Well, I think you are right in thinking that way.The respect and love shouldn't be restricted to a single day.It should show each day we live.It should show in our actions,not just words.That begs the question does it show in our actions towards women? Look around closely and you might find the answer :) Even on women's day for some!
As for a men's day,let that box stay locked.You never know what might come out if we open it:-P We already have too many interesting and weird incidents reported everyday.Don't know what a men's day might hold,lol
Oh I almost forgot.Wish you A Very Happy Women's day!!

Thankyou my friend.You are not wrong at all when you say that you respect women and that you mean it too.Can't vouch for others though :-)
Its not men who create so much of hype about this day.I'm amazed by the majority of us trying to cry hoarse about some kind of miraculous transition of our lot into a super womanhood on this day.If we really think we are at par then where's the need for it? You men never go about making a hue and cry over this issue.
As for the kind of celebrations on men's day,well,I prefer to be tight lipped,specially keeping the first response in mind.LMMO :-p

International Women's day is to celebrate the day that women finally gained rights. That's why there is no Men's day even though I guess it would be fair.

Yes,I know friend.On march 8,1857,in New York city,the women workers of a garment factory went on strike demanding better working environment and equal rights for women.After about fifty years,female employees of needle industry in New York marched again.A couple of years later March 8th was proclaimed as International Women's Day to commemorate US demonstration and honour working women.

I find all these day's to be really silly and especially when someone comes and wishes "happy women's day"! it sounds so ridiculous!Funny people actually go round wishing.My school principal used to always say,everyday is mother's day,every day is father,s day,we don't need such special days to celebrate.By the way I never really gave it a thought that we don't have a men's day :P

offcourse all the days are men's day, god us created to live in the universe, so u have to enjoy and love each and every moement, we are born for, to enjoy, hence i request u all the days are ours so enjoy
