How can I promote my website?

I have seen ur web site.Its good but u can do few changes.I think it should start from adding few attractive pictures on home page.Change the color try to put a pleasent color like pink etc...Next try to put the topics in an attractive manner.It have good matter in it.but people should understand that ur web site have good stuff.And first impression is the best impression.so make ur web site color ful and add good pictures....

Personally, I like the desgin of your site. I am in the process of trying to make my own webstie right now and I know how hard it can be to come up with the perfect design, but I do like yours. There are some websites that I hate visiting just because of their design, but yours wouldn't be one of them. One thing that I would suggest is by joinging online communities or online message boards, particularlly those that let you have signatures. I'm not sure if you know or not, but a signature allows you to put something at the bottom of all of your posts, like a favorite quote of yours or a link to your website. I have found online message boards work great for me. The more you participate in dicussions, there more exposure your website gets. For the best success, try and focus on message boards that are somehow connected to your website. So, if you may want to find receipe sharing boards or message boards for parents, and so on. You can go to Yahoo Answer and search for question related to your website and reply those qns by telling them how your website can relate to them. Good luck ;)

There are many ways that you can promote your site. Join traffic exchange sites and surf their websites in order to earn "credits" which are then turned into visits for your site. The layout is okay, but maybe you could use something like a picture of the recipe of the day, and maybe that should be a little more prominent with a description of what ingredients are in that recipe to make it taste so good.

Hi michelledarcy! I just checked your page & think it looks just fine. You have a nice layout, you're organized, not cluttered and everything looks relevant. The problem may not be with your site, it could be how you're promoting it. Do you mind me asking, what you've been doing so far?

Isn't that the other reason, people are joining this Mylot.com website so that they can promote their blogs/site for others to go and view. I saw a 2 ways, one by putting that under your profile page and the other which you've done, putting a link back to your blogs. Great idea for minimum efforts. I will be trying that once i've hit the minimum nos in order for me to put my link in.
