My kitten has started a new bad habit, every night this week we have woken up to find him snuggled up under the covers of the bed between us! I don't mind him sleeping on the bed, but I certainly don't want him under the duvet with us. He looked very happy though!
What bad habits do your cats have that you wish they would stop?

I wish my cat would sleep on the bed when I sleep...he used to do that when he was a baby, but now he no longer does. However, he does have some bad habits, including running around crazily and being loud at 2am (as mentioned above). He also scratches the furniture, and always follows into the kitchen and meows non-stop to be fed human-food. If you don't feed him "people food", he really won't stop whining :( However, all his bad habits are countered by his cuteness, and his loving behaviour. He is a very sweet and smart cat, and despite the bad habits, I wouldn't trade him for anything :)

Our cats are not allowed in the bedroom with us at night. We close the bedroom door. We don't have problems with them wanting to get under the covers. They're happy to sleep on top. The problem we do have is when one of them decides he wants petted at 2am (or some other insanely inconvenient time)! Another problem is when they walk across our pillows and our heads in the middle of the night! For those reasons, they're not allowed in our bedroom anymore.

We don't have doors anywhere but on the loo and bathroom, just curtains on the bedroom doors, so the cats can get everywhere whether we want them to or not.

I spoil my cats, and let them do anything they want, except scratching. They use their boards. My little girl eats paper. I don't know how to stop that one. She has eaten money, checks, boxes, any type of paper. That's it. They are well behaved and very loving.

We never allowed our cats under the covers either. On the bed was fine but not under the covers. We would take them out and throw them off hte bed when they did this. After about a week. The hibit stopped and now my cat is about 7 years old and never gets under the covers

Some of my cats bad habbits :
- they play every night at 2-3 (run, jump, fight, brake something,..)- it's very nice when you sleep and your cat jumps on you
- if I leave a shower-door open, Crnula use it as toilet
- Hunny loves paper - sometimes he cut some important papers to pieces or pull down all toilet-paper
and other of bad habbits,...

One of our cats has taken to sleeping in our sons bed but will not let him get to sleep as she wants to be petted and rubs against his face, nips his nose and jumps at his feet when he moves...we eventually have to taker her out the room but always find her cuddled up beside him in the morning.

My siamese manages to snuggle up besides my wife and I sometimes. If not, she is on top of my PC sleeping.
Whenever we use the PC, she makes sure that she is infront of you, even sleeping on the mouse.
She also loves to stay on the window and watch the things happening outside.

I have one cat who lays on his back under the bed and then pulls himself along under the bed using his nails on the boxsprings. It drives me crazy and I can't get him to stop. I thought that he would grow out of it, but he hasn't.
Of course, I hate it when one of my cats tries to use the furniture to groom his nails, but I've got clear tape on the corners of the furniture and it seems to be discouraging scratching.

ur cat seems cute.. but honestly speaking we dont keep cats at home. i just dont like cats for pets. . since childhood days, its only dogs that we have as pets.. but i know some friends who like cats.. they let them stay at home during daytime but out during night time.

2 of my six cats like to use my husband's and my room and bed as a race track about the time I want to go to bed. They will run bloody murder across the bed and play and wrestle and chew on each other. It drives me absolutely nuts when it is about 11pm and I am being kept awake for a good hour because of these 2 kitties.
